It was my understanding that Kent Branch intended to abandon their Domain Name: ogskent.on.ca in early 2011 when it is up for renewal and, instead, use only the website hosted by the Provincial OGS: ogs.on.ca/kent.
We know of another Branch that went this route and soon their old Domain Name was taken over by some porn group.
It seemed the only way for Kent Branch to prevent that is to continue paying the $40 per year to retain the Domain Name.
Rather than that, we were seeking over a period of a year to let as many as possible know that Kent Branch was abandoning the old Domain Name.
Recently I discovered it seems that "someone" has redirected our Domain Name so it now takes people directly to our "new" OGS provided website.
In so doing they have also made a number of our links inoperative.
And we have not heard whether that "someone" plans to pay the $40 per year for Kent Branch to retain that domain name.
It seems now the "left hand", the "right hand", and the "middle hand" are not to know what each other are doing.
So, I would strongly encourge each and every one to use Kent Branch's "new", OGS-hosted, website

and take note that we have no idea what you may find, now or later, on their old domain name site
