Peacefully at Noon Friday Aug 13 2010 age 97 at Saint Joseph at Fleming Nursing Home Peterborough ON.
Son of John GDANSKI 1889-1958 and wife Mary FRYCZ 1896-1918. Stepson of Appolonia Pauline MAICHER 1902-1972.

grandchildren Brian ALLAN (Lori BEDARD) of Barrie, Karen ALLAN (Mike BIGGAR) of Toronto, Joseph ALLAN (Natalie SASSEVILLE of Ottawa,) Gordon ALLAN of Ottawa,
great grandchildren Justin of Sudbury, Joshua of Barrie, James and Marissa of Smith's Falls.
Joe was always at his best when leading by quiet example and sharing his skills and experience to help and encourage others.
Fondly remembered by many machinists and toolmakers who apprenticed "under his wing".
Stephen Covey's principles fit Joe so well: "To live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy".
Special thanks from the entire Allan family to Joe's friendly and supportive caregivers at Saint Joseph at Fleming Nursing Home Peterborough.
Cremation. No visitation. No flowers please. Internment in Allan family plot at Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery Peterborough at a later date.
