AUCKLAND, Charmaine (née NASH)
Of Saint Thomas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Sunday, March 9, 2008, in her 66th year. Beloved wife for 47 years to Lorne S. AUCKLAND. Dearly loved mother of Dorinda VOEGTLE and her husband David, and Darrel AUCKLAND and his wife Karen, and special Mimi of Cassie and Jayson VOEGTLE, and Terri Lynn and Devon AUCKLAND, all of Saint Thomas. Dear sister of Darlene NASH- BURGESS and her husband Robert "Bob" of Saint Thomas. Also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Guelph, Ontario, February 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Oliver and Grace HUNTER) NASH. She was associated with Knox Presbyterian Church, Saint Thomas. Charmaine was an avid craftswoman, and her passion was knitting. Friends and relatives will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in South Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Animal Aide or the Victorian Order of Nurses gratefully acknowledged.

Of Amaranth Township passed away suddenly in Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Tuesday May 27, 2008. Elvin Byng RITZ in his 86th year, beloved husband for 60 years of Shirley (PRYDE) RITZ. Cherished father of Tamara (David) NIXON of R.R.#7 Orangeville. Dear Papa of Reanna and Matthew. Elvin is survived by sisters-in-law Barbara LEATHERDALE (RITZ,) Tania RITZ and Jessie (Hector) RITZ- McLEOD, brothers-in-law Garnet (Eileen) KEATING, Cecil (Lovette) KEATING, Lindsay (Diane) KEATING, Budd (Josie) KEATING, Larry (Anna Lisa) KEATING and sisters-in-law Betty (Stewart) IRETON, Marlene (Fred) KEATING- JOHNSON and Kathy ENGLAND (KEATING.) He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Sarah, brothers Harold and Basil, sister-in-law, Nancy KEATING and nieces Julie RITZ and Katherine VOETS- KEATING. Rested at the McMillan and Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk. Funeral services were held in the chapel on Saturday May 31, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment in Dundalk Maple Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Orangeville Baptist Church or the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated. Visitation was on Friday from 7-9 p.m.
