Surrounded by his loving family, at his residence in Thedford, June 05, 2008, Peter Joseph ROMBOUTS in his 61st year, passed away peacefully. Cherished husband and best friend of Jane (SMEEKENS.) Beloved father of Peter and Lisa (Thedford), Joanne (Vancouver), Donna and Rob VANDEWETERING (Adelaide), Amanda (London), Kevin (Thedford,) and special friend of Kevin and family, Jamie MULLIGAN. Loving Grandfather of Derek, Kirsten, Morgan, and Erica. Brother of Jacoba and Henry PETERS (Thedford), Adrian and Mary (Strathroy), Annie and Adrian HEYBLOM (Forest), Case (Mount Brydges), Tony and Joanne (Arkona.) Son-in-law of Jack and Wilma SMEEKENS (Forest.) Brother-in-law of Frank and Karen SMEEKENS (Grand Bend), Lia and Mark SCHEPERS (Parkhill,) Pete and Nell SMEEKENS (Grand Bend,) El and Bart LEENDERS (St. Pauls), Jim and Anita SMEEKENS (Strathroy). Uncle Pete will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adrian (1967), and Elizabeth (2000) ROMBOUTS. Visitation will be held at St. Christopher's Catholic Parish (68 Union St.) in Forest on Sunday, June 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Christopher's Catholic Parish on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Gerard BEDARD celebrant. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Taxandria Soccer Club (Arkona), or Order of Alhambra (Grand Bend). McLEAN, Catharine “Kathleen&rdquo
Peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Durham on Thursday April 17, 2008. In her 100th year, “Kathleen” Catharine McLEAN, beloved daughter of the late John McLEAN and his wife Mary (née SMELLIE.) Fondly remembered by her extended family and Friends. Predeceased by her brother Elton. Kathleen was a graduate of Shaw's Business College, she retired from the Grey South Registry Office. Friends may call at the Fawcett-McEachern Funeral Home in Durham on Sunday April 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday April 21 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jim JOHNSON officiating. Interment in McNeal Cemetery, Priceville. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Friday, July 25th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 76th year. Husband of Shirley (CLARKE) ROACH and father of Earl ROACH and fiancee Marsha of Strathroy, Janet Elizabeth and her husband Ron SMELTZ of Trout Creek and Shirley Mae ROACH of Alberta. Brother of Barbara COLTSON, Velda CAMPBELL, Helen TAPP, Allison ROACH and Minnie STEVES. Predeceased by 2 sisters Stacey ROACH and Ruth McDONALD and by 4 brothers William, Earl, Morton and Paul ROACH. Grandfather of Michael, Steven and Pamela ROACH, Robert and Angela JENSEN and great-grandfather of Lillian JENSEN and Tamara SCHMERBAUCH. Cutler was born in Darnley, Prince Edward Island on September 1, 1932, the son of the late Fred and Elizabeth (INMAN) ROACH. He worked on the nursing staff at the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital and also drove truck. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family regrettably announces the passing of Glenn Frederick SMERDON, in his 63rd year, with his family by his side, on June 12th. He passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by Eleanor, Kyle, Nicole (Jonathon Avery), Kent and family.
