KUCHAR, Vaclav William
Vaclav William KUCHAR, born in Czechoslovakia June 20, 1938. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Vaclav passed away peacefully Saturday April 19, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. An architect, developer, and builder, having started his own company, the Trilet Group and Kuchar Architects, over 33 years ago, Vas-love lived life to the fullest and was highly respected as a businessman, leader and visionary. He was steadfast in his convictions and never gave up on his dreams. His designs and the buildings that stand today are only part of his legacy. The Friendships he made along the way stand the truest test of time. He will be forever missed by his wife Eva of 50 years, and his entire family! The family will receive Friends at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre - Mississauga, 1535 South Gateway Road (Dixie Rd, 2 lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Wednesday April 23rd from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday April 24th from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday April 25th at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at Stage West Hotel. On July 22, 2008, peacefully at Villa Nursing Home, Midland, Ontario at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Lilian ARNOLD (née ROWE.) Wonderful dad of Robert (Nancy) of Parry Sound. Predeceased by son William. Loving Grandad of Elizabeth FOSTER (David,) Heather KUCHCICKI (Edward,) James ARNOLD (Lee-Ann.) Great-Grandad of Ben, James, Victoria, Stewart, Thomas, and Joe. Robert will be greatly missed by brother Ross (Mary) and predeceased by Al ARNOLD (Ethel.) Former member of the Etobicoke Fire Department (retired 1974). Member of the Mimico Lodge 369 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons Family and Friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 3B8 (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. only. With her family by her side at Mount Hope L.T.C. on May 25th, 2008, Mrs. Jean Gertrude SHARPLES (née BROWN) of London in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harry SHARPLES. Loving mother of Yvonne and her husband Jim LOCKWOOD. Cherished grandmother of Trudy and Dan FISCHER, Nancy JOHNSON and Steve KUCHTA, Shari PUEHRINGER and Jeff CARPENTER, Rick and Brenda JOHNSON, Marcy and Mark ATCHISON, Kathy FISCHER and John MacDONALD. Great-grandmother of Mike, Crystal, Kate, Blair, Cole and Brandi. Great-Great-grandmother of Cameron. Dear sister and best friend of Helen FORTH, sister-in-law Violet BROWN, step sister Toni GRONERT and predeceased by brothers Glen, Murray and Bill BROWN. Special thanks to everyone on MV1 and SM5. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildegard (KUCK) BROSS who peacefully passed away on July 8th, 2008. Hildegard born November 4th, 1930 in Eschweiler, Germany came to Canada in 1952 following her high school sweetheart and husband, the late Erwin BROSS. Caring mother of Roy BROSS, the late Beatrice Bollian, Klaus BROSS, and Gabriela COSTELLO. Beloved grandmother of Crystal and Candis BROSS, Chantal, Andreas and Axel BOLLIAN, Tyler and Benjamin BROSS, and Jessica and Tanya COSTELLO. A generous and compassionate woman to everyone, Hildegard will be remembered and greatly missed. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel (520 Dundas Street, London) on Friday 7-9 p.m. where funeral prayers will be conducted on Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at 3: 00 p.m. with gathering for one hour prior to service time. Of Saint Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Friday, April 4th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Marian MINKOWSKI (1996) and dearly loved mother of Wendy and her husband Allen BENOIT of Saint Thomas and Yadzia SILVA of Texas. Much loved grandmother of Michael, Matthew and Aaron. Dear sister of Michael, Stephanie, John and Stephen, all of Poland. Katarzyna was born in Poland on June 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Basil and Anastasia KUCLO. She was a member of Holy Angels' Church and a former member of the Catholic Women's League. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Wednesday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7: 00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
