LOVE, Nola Mae (née HODGINS)
Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday, March 10, 2008, Nola Mae (HODGINS) LOVE of Grand Bend, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Everard LOVE (1989.) Daughter of the late Mansell and Mae (CARRUTHERS) HODGINS. Dearest mother of Betty DATARS of Grand Bend, Don and Connie LOVE of Midland, Clare and Janet LOVE of Sarnia, Kathy and Fred LOBB of Clinton. Loving and proud grandma of June and Tony, Janet and Joe, Kevin and Nancy and Krisan, Dan and Helena, David and Leesa, Leanne and Peter, Rob and Teresa, Diane and Steve, Randall and Nisa, Rhonda and Steve, Rick and Kate, great-grandmother of 24 and great great-grandmother of two. Dear sister-in-law of Wilma LOVE. Remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law Ila and Stan KAYES, Beulah and Clarance HARDY, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Edith (GREB) and Hugh LOVE, Vera (ISAAC) and Lloyd LOVE, Edith (LOVE) and Douglas GILL, Mervyn LOVE and son-in-law Earl DATARS. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Nola's Life will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. Mr. Bob HEYWOOD officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Dashwood and Area Medical Centre, Grand Bend Area Community Health Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated. Nola was a lifetime member of the Dashwood and Area Medical Centre, serving as secretary for many years, past organist of Saint_Johns By-The-Lake Anglican Church Grand Bend and hosted many senior events. Suddenly at the Watford Quality Care Centre, on Sunday, April 6, 2008 Trevor OWEN formerly of Parkhill in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (FIELDING) OWEN. Dear father of Claire ISAAC and Mike SCAFE, Helen CLOUD and Peter WIEBE, Elizabeth OWEN and Paul STARK, and Megan OWEN. Granddad to 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Memorial Funeral Service will be conducted at the M. Box and son Funeral Home, 183 Broad Street, Parkhill, on Saturday, April 12 at 1: 00 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Phillip Bruce officiating. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation. Share a memory or send condolences to M. In loving memory of Margaret Isabel Galbraith June 29, 1927 - May 7,
2008. Margaret Galbraith, a resident of Kagawong, died at the Mindemoya
Hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She was born
in Carnarvon Township, daughter of the late George and Mary ( Thomson)
Wyman. Margaret had worked as a food manager at MSS for 15 years before
retiring. She had been a member of the Eastern Star since 1972, serving
as organist, in Gore Bay, then Little Current after the amalgamation, Ada
and as Worthy Matron for 2 terms. Margaret enjoyed music, both singing
and playing, reading, cooking and her flower garden. Her greatest love
was her family and spending time with them. She will be sadly missed, but
many memories will be cherished. Dearly loved wife of Bruce Galbraith.
Loving and loved mother of Anita of Toronto and Herb and his wife
Margaret also of Toronto. Special sister of Marjorie (Wilson) Volpel of
Peterborough. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by sister Marion and brothers Lloyd and Don Wyman. Visitation was held at
the Culgin Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral
service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Saturday, May 10,
2008 at 11.00 am with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy officiating. Cremation to
follow. If so desired, donations to the Diabetic Association, the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or Leprosy Relief Canada would be appreciated. Spanish
River Chapter O.E.S. #237 held a memorial service at the Funeral Home,
Friday at 6.45 p.m. Culgin Funeral Home 282-2270.

Died suddenly April 2, 2008. Jean was born June 11th 1925 in Hamilton, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband, Ian MacDONALD, brothers Bob and Grant ISARD, and grand_son, Joey KOCH. She is survived by her children, Doctor Peter MacDONALD (Annette) of Chicago, Illinois, and Susan KOCH (Wayne) of Delta, British Columbia. Grandchildren Alec and Sarah (Greg) MacDONALD and Danny KOCH. Nephews Ted (Christine) and Bob (Sandy) ISARD. Jean was a graduate of the McMaster University "Class of 47". She earned a "M" and became a letterman in her freshmen year in recognition of her proven athletics. She held singles and doubles tennis championships for each of her 4 years at McMaster, and was Captain of the University basketball team. She participated and performed numerous times in a synchronized swimming group, the "Doll-Fins", in Naples, Florida; their most noteworthy performance was featured on the NBC Network program "Real People". She divided her life and love for her dear Friends between her home in London, Ontario and Naples, Florida. More recently, Delta, British Columbia and Naples, Florida. She took great pride in her work as a cruise coordinator and organized many cruises through out the Caribbean and elsewhere. A service will be held 2: 00 p.m. Sunday, April 6th at the Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, in Ladner, officiated by Hugh MacDONALD, followed by a reception and celebration of her life. (Arrangements by the Delta Funeral Home 604-946-6040). In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster University would be appreciated.
