Passed away at the Kelso Pines Nursing Home, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008, the former Ruth WILEY in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Eugene THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and the late Russell ERSKINE. Loving mother of William ERSKINE of R.R.#2 Markdale, Linda (Bob) MOYER of London, Lorraine (Dennis) SHAW of Owen Sound. Step-mother of Franklin (Helen) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Cornwall and Linda (Bill) CLARK of Hamilton. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren; Wendy SHEPSTONE and six others and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Doreen BRISTOW of Collingwood and Blanche BEUTLER of Chilliwack, British Columbia. Resting at the Gardiner-Wilson Funeral Home, Meaford, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 2: 00 p.m. Visitation 2 hours prior to the service (12-2 p.m.). Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford. Donations to the Meaford United Church or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ERSKINE, Marguerite " Maggie"
(January 7, 1925-March 14, 2008)
Marguerite ERSKINE, beloved wife of the late Clayton Warren ERSKINE and loving mother of Leslie ERSKINE and son-in-law Tim BEAL and the late Lisa ERSKINE, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Maggie was born on January 7, 1925 in Montreal, Québec, the fifth of thirteen children. Her many loves included music, singing, reading and being surrounded by nature. Her life experiences included nursing, working as a stewardess for Trans Canada Airline, joining the Royal Canadian Air force but most importantly to her, she dedicated her life to being a wife and mother. Maggie found great joy and was blessed by the love of her family and many Friends. She will be sadly missed by the people whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Maggie's Life will be held at McInnis and Holloway's Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary) on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 2: 30 p.m. Forward condolences through In living memory of Maggie ERSKINE, a tree will be planted at Calgary's Fish Creek Provincial Park with a Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, September 14, 2008.
