In loving memory of John C. ENOSSE, August 12, 2006.
Forever in a day, we miss our dear John
The birds would chirp, and tweetle their song.
Whistled to their tune, as you tapped your feet
We'd say, shush grampa, as you'd grin ear to cheek.
But one dark August sky, there shone a cold dawn
The birds song still, as they knew you had gone.
Another season, the leaves be falling
As I think of our talks, say thank you for calling.
The day you left seems but a blink away
All we have are thoughts that never go astray.
Even little things that linger in our mind
Are just that, they too, heal with time.
It's the hearty things that will never fade
At how we still laugh at the jokes you had made.
You visit us in spirit, in dreams, and in secret
A day rarely goes by that we comfort from it.
In spirit we know you're always here
In secret you say I'm always near.
In dreams we hug, we visit as we walk
I say, thank you dad, as you fade while we talk.
For us, your wisdom and courage, we'll always retain
For you, serenity, a home with no daunting pain.
K'daanis, Letta
