MORGAN, John Allison "Al"
Passed away with great courage in his 83rd year on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 at Seaforth Community Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his family and Friends. Devoted father to his 4 daughters Judy (Meaford), Sarah (Seaforth), Patricia (Walkerton) and Jane (Florida). Survived by his wife Patricia. Proud grandfather of Andrea and Kathryn who cherished their Papa. Also survived by sisters Helen ELLERINGTON (London,) Anne JOYNT (Toms' River, New Jersey) and Jane (Bev) DEKAY (London). Brothers Bev (Burdine) (Exeter). Predeceased by Grant (Joan) (St. Louis, Michigan). He was a proud Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran, he enlisted at age 16 and trained in Manitoba as a wireless air gunner and navigator. He graduated from the University of Guelph, (Ontario Agricultural College-50), B.Sca. Poultry Husbandry. He was well known across Middlesex and Huron Counties for his work with Ralston Purina as District Sales Manager for almost 25 years. He then lived out his dream, farming and racing horses in Seabringville for 20 years. Retiring to Meaford. The last 7 years he has lived in Seaforth making lots of Friends and acting as a "Pillar" of Sarah's life. He will be remembered for his love of life, people, politics, farming and horse racing. He was truly a magnanimous human being as he spent a lifetime helping others. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be in Egmondville. A Memorial Service will be held for family and Friends to celebrate his life on Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Seaforth. Rev. Henry HUBERTS will officiate. At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Neeltje (Nel) WEVERINK of Aylmer in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Martin WEVERINK. Dear mother of Theresa VAN GURP and husband Neil of Aylmer, Henry WEVERINK and wife Louise of Aylmer, Len WEVERINK and wife Jane of Aylmer, Marian WEESJES and husband Henry of Saint Thomas, Judi HANENBURG and husband Jeff of Woodstock, and Victor WEVERINK and wife Ena of Aylmer. Loved by 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Sister of Margaret GROOT and husband Jack of Aylmer, Joe TENSEN and wife Judy, and Henk TENSEN and wife Grietje in the Netherlands. Sister-in-law of Tine TENSEN of Aylmer. Predeceased by a brother Jake TENSEN (1985) a sister Wilma DEKKER (2004) and four brothers and three sisters in the Netherlands. Born in Andyk, The Netherlands on June 13, 1923 daughter of the late Hendrick and Maartje (TINKELENBERG) TENSEN. Mrs WEVERINK came to Canada in 1951, settled in Cornwall and moved to Aylmer in 1954. She was a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. pm. Beloved wife of Sharon (DESHAW) MURPHY. Loving father and father-in-law of Shannon and Dan DEKONING of Wallaceburg, Karen and Mike ELLIS of Brantford and Tommi MURPHY at home. Dear grandfather of Alec, Nolan, Nelson, Peyton and Kowen. He was born in Chatham Township son of the late Frederick Roy and Helena (JOHNSON) CHAPPLE. His wife Mary (RONDEAU) CHAPPLE predeceased in 2004.
