MOSS, Helen Betty (1911-2008)
Peacefully at Saint Michael's Hospital on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Percy Ernest MOSS (1908-1977.) Dear mother of Marcia Karn MOSS and mother-in-law of George Edward AGNEW. Beloved friend of fellow artist Andrew ADACH. Betty was a teacher and an accomplished painter, potter and sculptor. She was a distinguished member of the Canadian Sculpture Society and the Colour and Form Society for many years. Many thanks to Living Assistance Services for the provision of excellent caregivers in her home for the past three years. A special thank you is extended to Jocelyn AQUIRO who was her primary caregiver over that period of time. Her daughter Marcia also wishes to express her deepest appreciation for the professional skills and kindness of the staff on the 14th floor and in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Michael's Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a future date to celebrate her life and her art. Cremation. Placement in the Garden of Remembrance at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
