Age 88 of Dresden passed away at Chatham Kent Health Alliance Public General Campus Monday February 11, 2008. Born in Glencoe son of the late El and Nellie (STEVENS) OLIPHANT. Surviving are his loving wife Mary (David) OLIPHANT of Dresden, one daughter Lynn CAMPBELL and husband Dugald of Grand Rapids Michigan, one daughter-in-law Eileen OLIPHANT of Chatham, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One son Richard OLIPHANT, three sisters and seven brothers have predeceased. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross St. Dresden Friday from 4: 00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday February 16, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Janice AICKEN officiating Cremation will take place with the interment of cremains in Dresden Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions would be appreciated by the family and may be made by cheque and left at the funeral home to Canadian Diabetes Association, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice. AICKEN, Donna Marie
76, of Mitchell passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Friday, July 18, 2008. She is now reunited with her husband Corky (Dennis AICKEN.) She will be forever missed by her children Kevin and Helen AICKEN, Karen and Pat KELLY, Kathie BELL and Murray AICKEN; grandchildren Cole and Jess AICKEN, Bill and Kymm KELLY, Deni and Rob WOLFE, Kurt and Dayna MAHON, Craig, Jim and Kristina KELLY, Katrina and Brad DEBOER and Josh BELL; great-grandchildren Andrea KELLY, Lucas MAHON, Ryan and Kaitlyn DEBOER, all who kept the sparkle in her eyes. Dear sister of Eileen NEVETT. Lovingly remembered by the Aicken family and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Saint Marys Cemetery.
