HALL, William Richard " Bill"
Surrounded by his family, William Richard (Bill) HALL died peacefully in his home in Shrewsbury just three days before his 87th birthday. In his life, Bill was a World War 2 Veteran and a Stationary Engineer but most importantly he was the loving father of Rick HALL (Karen,) Bob HALL, Judy FRASER (Dave ESKRITT,) Jim HALL (Linda) and Katie DAVIES. Bill will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of May (Shell) LAWR and Frank (Beryl) HALL, brother-in-law of Abby FORD, Carol HALL and Audrey HALL. Predeceased by his parents Richard and May HALL, his sister Hazel and his brothers Art, Albert, George and Roy. On Thursday, September 13, 2007 Friends will be received at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. On Friday September 14, 2007 Friends will be received at the Butcher Funeral Home in Erin, Ontario from 1-3 p.m. followed immediately by the Funeral Service. Interment in Erin Union Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers will be Bill's sons Rick, Bob and Jim HALL and his grand_sons Ricky HALL, Jim FRASER and Keith DAVIES. Friends wishing to honour Bill's life with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Salvation Army. After a courageous battle with cancer, on September 12, 2007. Beloved wife of Leslie Joseph ESKRITT. Devoted mother of Jodi Ann and Ian Joseph (Jeremy Lin EVANS- ESKRITT) and proud grandmother of Keagan Leslie and Loghan Dawn. Dear sister of Sheila Elizabeth (Mrs. H. Oswald SHANKS) and Pam (Mrs. Brian BROLLEY). Diana will be fondly remembered and missed by her many Friends and family. The family wishes to thank all those who helped Diana and Joe through her illness. Memorial service will be held in the chapel of James Reid Funeral Home Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd), on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Muscular Sclerosis Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. (Donations by cheque only please).
