At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, Thomas Francis (Tom), dear husband of Mary Catherine (CLEARY) GILLEN in his 66th year. Dear father of Eugene and his fiancée Lodina, Dan and his wife Kristine. Proud grandfather of Joseph Thomas GILLEN. Dear brother of Mary FITZPATRICK, Noreen GERMAN (Al), Sister Loretta GILLEN, R.P.B., James GILLEN, Kathleen UMBACH (Ed.) Predeceased by his sisters Helen HARTMAN, Anne Marie FLYNN, Evelyn KENDELLEN, and his brothers Eugene, Joseph and John GILLEN. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue at Dundas Street, on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.

At Sunnybrook Hospital, on Monday, April 17, 2006, in her 53rd year. Vickie will be greatly missed by her soul mate, best friend and husband of 36 years, Gordon. Dear mother of Gordie and wife Tammy. Wonderful grandma to Brendon and Madison. Loving daughter of Anica and the late Jordan UMER. Sister to Nadia and husband Louie, Dario and wife Megan, Annie and husband Dan, and Jordan and wife Wanita. Vickie will be missed by all of her nieces, nephews, family and Friends. She touched the lives of so many and will always be remembered as a fighter who lived life to its fullest. A service will be held for family and Friends on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. in the chapel of the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Rd.), Markham. In memory of Vickie, donations to The Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Born November 7, 1919, Kiyoko OIKAWA slipped away peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Mitsuro Norman OIKAWA. Loving mother of Dana, Vel and her husband Paul LAMOTHE, and Lyle and his wife Holly YIP. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Koichiro, Stony and his late wife Joan, Jack and Eleanor, Kayoko and her late husband Mitsugu SHIMODA, Ayako and her late husband Harry KONDO, Ken and his late wife Marion, and Mariko and Joe UMETSU. Kay is resting at The Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home Robinson Chapel (King St. E., at Wellington), Hamilton, 905-522-2496, where the family will receive Friends on Sunday 1-5 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the funeral home Chapel on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Kay to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation in lieu of Koden would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away, at home, on Saturday, January 14, 2006. Beloved husband of Bessie Harue OGINO (née UMETSU.) Loving father of Jeffrey and his wife Elizabeth, and Connie JORGENSEN and her husband Henning. Cherished grandfather of Scott and Caitlin. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Ricky. Beloved wife of the late Clarence "Jake" MILLEN (1991.) Dear mother of Fred (Sandra) EMPEY of Komoka; Brian GRAY/GREY, and Heather FLANNELLY of Black Creek, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Cherished and much loved grandmother to Tadd EMPEY of Toronto; Sheris, and Freddy EMPEY of Komoka; Kelly (Adam) RUTHERFORD of Guelph. Great grandmother to Sierra and Avery RUTHERFORD. Dear sister of Margaret and the late Gerald DELANEY of Sydney, Nova Scotia; Jim (Selma) UMPHERSON of Toronto; Kathleen (Gerald) O'BRIEN of Courtland.
