AXFORD, Donald Emerson
Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, February 3rd, 2006, Donald Emerson AXFORD in his 62nd year. Loving husband of Cheryl (DANN) AXFORD. Loving father of Jeffrey and Kristin, loving grandpa to Michelle, all of London. Brother of Beatrice (Ron) TRAVIS of Guelph, Colleen (Ron) LEIS of Midland. Brother-in-law of Dennis (Wendy) DANN of London and Kevin DANN (Ann PHAFF) of Thorndale. Son-in-law of Bettie DANN of Granton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Don's life will be held Friday, February 10, 2006. Service at 4: 00 p.m. at the Duchess of Kent Legion, 499 Hill Street, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Centre.

FLYNN, James Moray
Suddenly, in Owen Sound, on Friday, February 10th, 2006. James Moray FLYNN, of Owen Sound, in his 60th year. Husband of Donna FLYNN (née PHAIR.) Loving father of Angela FLYNN, of Owen Sound and Jessica FLYNN and her partner, Jeff, of Waterloo. Moray was predeceased by his parents, James Henry and Mary Helen FLYNN and his brother, Alistair FLYNN. A Memorial Service for Moray FLYNN will be held in the Chapel of the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound (376-7492) on Friday, February 24th, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. with Dr. Brad CLARK officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of your choice as your expression of sympathy.

MUNRO, Tessa (née WILKES) (July 26, 1958-January 15, 2006)
Mrs. Tessa MUNRO (née WILKES,) age 47, life long resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Josephs Hospice after a courageous battle against cancer due to second hand exposure to asbestos. Her family and closest Friends surrounded her at her side. Tessa was foremost a family person who devoted herself to her family and Friends. While raising a family, Tessa assisted her husband, David, in building his business. Over the years Tessa enjoyed gardening, travel, family vacations, summer dinners on the deck of her home, bingo and her scratch tickets. Tessa especially loved to spend time with her children and granddaughter. Tessa will be sadly missed by her husband of 24 years, David; sons Colin and Christopher; daughter Kaitlin; and granddaughter Melanie (all living in Thunder Bay). She is also survived by her brothers: Arthur WILKES, David WILKES, Warren (Marie) WILKES, all of Thunder Bay, Kenneth WILKES (Edmonton;) her sisters Caren SLADE and Myrna (Milan) BENKA of Thunder Bay; mother-in-law, Patricia MUNRO of Mississauga; sisters-in-law: Kathy (Ernie) CAVILLIN, Karen (Joe) DESOUSA, Susan CHAPMAN, all of Mississauga; brothers-in-law Dennis (Debbie) MUNRO, British Columbia, and Rick (Diane) MUNRO, California, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Tessa also leaves behind many life long Friends and her loving and faithful companion, her dog Rufus. Her parents Charles and Edna WILKES; brother Lawrence WILKES; father-in-law Mike MUNRO and her dearest friend Jessie PHAIR predeceased Tessa. A short Celebration of Tessa's Life with 50's and 60's music will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18th, followed by a luncheon at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay, Ontario. A Private Family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, or to the charity of your choice. The family wishes to express sincere and deepest gratitude to the dedicated people at the Regional Cancer Centre, and St. Joseph's Hospice who made her road more comfortable.

At Marian Villa on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, Rose Marion (BECK) PHALEN of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late John PHALEN. Sadly missed by many Friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne Street) on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Father John VAN DAMME officiating. Cremation and interment Saint Marys Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to London Regional Cancer Centre.
