Born in Scheveningen, the Netherlands on October 23, 1934, passed away on January 21, 2006 in his 72nd year with his family by his side. Maarten is survived by his wife of many years Lainie. Loving "Pa" of Riekie RONCINSKE (Lucky), Brian (Laura), Paulien ANNION (Dave), Maarten Jr. (Michele). Proud Opa of Lainie RIDE- OUT (Barry,) Maarten ANNION (Janet,) Brian ANNION (Tina,) Gavin, Emily, Jacob, and Maxwell and Great Opa of Elise, Georgia, Thea, Clayton, and Brianna. Dear brother of Jan (Chris), Henk (Lainie), Rinus (Mia). He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. Maarten founded Taalman Engineered Products, a family run company that has become an industry leader in the radiator aftermarket of North America. This was made possible through his hard work and determination. Qualities that all who knew him would attest that he had in abundance. A loving father and devoted husband, Maarten will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched. The family wishes to thank the Victorian Order of Nurses and Community Care Access Centre of Hamilton for all of their efforts. Family and Friends will be received at the Glen Oaks Visitation, Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (Ninth Line and Dundas Street) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Maarten's life will be held at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel on Wednesday January 25, 2006 at 4 p.m. Cremation.

86, of Mitchell passed away at the Exeter Villa on Saturday, November 4, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Guy INMAN (1942,) Oscar ELLISON (1968) and Don KEMPSTON (1976.) Dear mother of Doug Ellison and wife Cathy of Grand Bend, Bob ELLISON of Yellowknife and Don ELLISON and wife Darlene of Exeter; loving grandmother of Michelle (Eric) STANGER, Marcia (Howie) OUTERBRIDGE, Jenny ELLISON, Dan ELLISON, Sean ELLISON and Meaghan ELLISON; loving great-grandmother of Beckett STANGER; dear sister of Arlene (John) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART; dear sister-in-law of Doreen SMART. Lovingly remembered by her good friend Derek WHITEHEAD, the KEMPSTON and ELLISON families and Michelle, Lisa and Katey HAKVOORT. Also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Len and Ruth (WILSON) SMART and brother Donald SMART. Gert was born in Paynton, Saskatchewan and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War 2. She moved to Mitchell in 1952 where she was a Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, a member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Mitchell Golf and Country Club. Gert will be remembered for her zest for life, great sense of humour and love of sports. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1: 00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Susan MALPUS officiating. Interment in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Mitchell. Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 18th, 2006, at the age of 69. Kole Tsankin, loving husband of Francis. At Elmwood Place Retirement Community, London on June 15th, 2006, Violet Emily (SAMBELL) JEFFERY of London in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William Earl JEFFERY (1984.) Dear mother of Mary Lois and Bruce COOPER of London, Larry and Jacquie JEFFERY of Aylmer, and David and Sharon JEFFERY of Sutton. Much loved grandmother of Keven JEFFERY and Marika HOE of Boston, Neil JEFFERY and Sonja LEAL of London, Megan Emily JEFFERY and Mark OAKES of London, Andrea JEFFERY and Dave FERRIS of Toronto, Nicole Emily JEFFERY of Sutton. Loving step grandmother of Randy and Marlene ROBINSON of Kingman, Arizona, Rick and Teresa ROBINSON of Phoenix, Arizona and Linda and Richard WEBBER of Salford. Special great-grandmother of Jada Violet LEAL, Felix and Xander OAKES. Survived by her sister Grace ASTLES of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents Francis Poole SAMBELL (1957) and Emily Louisa (RATHBONE) SAMBELL (1924) and 11 siblings: Florence McROBERTS (1975), Francis George (1897), Ethel May (1898), Francis "Frank" (1983), Benjamin (1968), William (1985), Sydney (1981), Mabel OUTRAM (2001,) Henry "Harry" (2001,) Albert (1983) and Herbert (1999). Violet graduated as an R.N. from the Ontario Hospital in London in 1932. She nursed in London, Whitby and Woodstock, before marrying in 1942, and spending 45 years in Dereham Centre. She retired from nursing at Parkwood Hospital in London in 1972. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, June 19th, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Junior SORZANO officiating. Interment in Mount Elgin Cemetery, Mount Elgin Ontario.
