Peacefully at Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound, On Wednesday, September 27th, 2006, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Orville GIFFIN, on their 59th Wedding Anniversary. Beloved mother of Ina (Howard) BENTLEY, Owen Sound, Daryl (Debbie) GIFFIN, Barrie, Valerie (Wolfgang) SCHMUDE, St. Catharines. Beloved grandmother of Scott and Jeremy BENTLEY, Seann and Kyle GIFFIN, Bryanna McMANUS, Aaron and Andrew SALIBA. Also survived by her sister Grace HILDRETH, Hamilton. Predeceased by her brothers Ed and Lorne ENOS, sister Vera MOUNTAIN and granddaughter Taryn GIFFIN. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9: 00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 2nd at 11: 00 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Age 63 of Dresden passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Tuesday September 12, 2006. She was born in Dresden daughter of the late Wayne and Ona ENOS) LAMBKIN. Surviving is her husband Jerry TRAVIS; two daughters: Sheila and Clinton HARRIS of Chatham, Sherry and Clarence TALBOT of Chatham; one son: Scott TRAVIS and fiancée Luanne of Chatham God daughter Kathy BISHOP of Ruscum; four grandchildren: Alicia HARRIS, Clinton HARRIS, Darnell TALBOT and Karly TRAVIS; four sisters: Peggy and Paul ROBINSON of Dresden, Dianne and Larry VETOR of Comber, Yvonne and Kelly CHAUVIN of Stoney Point, Mary LAMBKIN of Comber; two brothers: Albert and Brenda LAMBKIN and Mike and April LAMBKIN both of Dresden. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Thursday 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday September 15, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Albert LAMBKIN officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to Canadian Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
