Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday October 2, 2006, Jack S. GODO of R.R.#5, Langton in his 82nd year. Dear son of the late David GODO and the late former Rosalie CSATI. Born in Komlo, Heves Megye, Hungary. Jack came to Canada in 1937. He came to the Langton area in 1945 and was a tobacco farmer, retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Ladislaus R.C. Church, Courtland; former President of Szekely Home in Tillsonburg member of the Delhi District Hungarian Hall. Dear husband and best friend of 25 years to Susan DeLellis GODO. Step-father of: Aldo and Lina DELELLIS, London; Elena and Tony DIMASSA, London Mary and Keith BOYTER, Everett, Ontario. Brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Isabelle GODO, R.R.#5, Langton, by brother-in-law and sister Alex SZALKAI, R.R.#5, Langton and the late Rosalie SZALKAI (2004.) Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a nephew Joe GODO (1984.) Resting at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, until Thursday, October 5, 2006, thence to Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg, for Mass of a Christian Burial at 10: 00 a.m. by Rev. Fr. Matthew GEORGE. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations (by cheque only) to the charity of your choice. Visitation on Wednesday 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers on Wednesday evening at 7: 30 p.m.
