CLARKE, Donald Thomas
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Donald Thomas CLARKE at his home on Saturday, September 16th, 2006. Donald joins his eternal partner, Gloria Irene CLARKE (predeceased 2001). He leaves four tremendously proud and grateful children, Karen Elaine (Nick), Donald Gordon, Robert Bradley (Marnie) and Douglas Andrew (Leigh-Ann). Don was most proud of the legacy he and Gloria left in the form of eight cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick, Steffanie, Sarah, Kelcie, Darby, Jack and Kate. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence) on Thursday, September 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 25 St. Philip's Rd. on Friday, September 22nd, at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to McMaster University, 304 Victoria Ave. North, Room 305, Hamilton, Ontario L8L 5G4 Attention: Doctor Claudio CINA. An incomparably kind gentleman, he provided a standard which very few can hope to attain. Good Show Dad. Say hi to Mom for us.

Dear sister of Reginald SEABORNE and his wife Jean of London and Doris FLETCHER and her husband Roy of England. As per Doreen's wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. Cremation. A private family service will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London with enurnment of cremated remains at a later date. A. In her 51st year, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Markdale on Sunday September 3, 2006, following a long and very courageous fight. Beloved wife of Brian. Loving mother of Bradley. Caring sister and sister-in-law of James and Jill BEST of Toronto. Cherished cousin of Betty-Anne CINNAMON, niece of Helen FREEBORN of Newmarket. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of Dorothy FERGUSON of Toronto, sister-in-law of John and Karen FERGUSON of Sarnia, Robert and Deborah FERGUSON of Cobourg. Loving aunt of Beverly, Kale, Kelsey and Rachel. Honouring Janice's wishes and style, direct cremation has been arranged and there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Retired teacher with the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board. Born in Goderich the eldest daughter of the late Dan and Maude O'BRIEN. Predeceased by her brothers Gerry and Joe and her sister Evelyn. Eileen is survived by her sister Alma STEPHENSON and her many nieces and nephews; Mike (Barb) O'BRIEN, Dan and (Shirley) O'BRIEN, Kathleen O'BRIEN and Gerry (Lorraine) O'BRIEN, Patricia (Sam) CINO, Robert STEPHENSON, Kathy (Bill) WESTBROOK, Brian (Carole) STEPHENSON, Maureen (Peter) FUSS, Bette (Ken) WRIGHT, Kevin (Debbie) O'BRIEN, Maureen (Mike) KENNY, several great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nephews. Eileen began her teaching career in Oakville in 1935 and retired from Saint Mary's School in Goderich. She received provincial recognition for her volunteer work in literacy. She was an active member on the Goderich District Collegiate Institute all years reunion committee. Her family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff at Huronview. Visitation will be held at McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East St. Goderich on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Goderich on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery. Donations to Saint Peter's Catholic Church or the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation gratefully acknowledged.
