YPMA, Ethel A. (formerly AVEY, née SMYTH)
At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday, April 21, 2005. Ethel A. YPMA (AVEY) (née SMYTH) of Woodstock in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd AVEY (1945) and James YPMA (1999.) Loved mother of Larry AVEY and his wife Sharon of Courtright, Ontario, Ron YPMA and his wife Shelley of Woodstock and Bonnie AVEY and her husband Robert HEDGES of Beachville. Ethel will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and greatly missed by her sister-in-law Verna NEWELL, daughter-in-law Myra AVEY and niece Janice BUTCHER. She was the last surviving member of the Smyth family and was predeceased by her son John "Jack" AVEY and daughter Barb BENJAMIN. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock (539-0004) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Huron Park Baptist Church, 199 Berwick St. Woodstock on Monday at 2: 00 pm with Pastor Robert MacGREGOR officiating. Interment in the Norwich Cemetery. Contributions to Huron Park Baptist Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated. Online condolences at

At his residence in Ingersoll on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, Jack JANSSEN, in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Linda (LOGAN) JANSSEN. Dear father of Lisa of Ingersoll, Darren and wife Diane of Ingersoll and Jennifer and friend Barrie POTTER of Woodstock, granddaughter Mackenzie and special companion Elvis. Dear brother of Leo JANSSEN and wife Linda of Woodstock, Antoinette and husband Case YPMA of Woodstock, Gary JANSSEN and wife Linda of Comox, British Columbia, Willy and husband Dave OLIVER of Woodstock, Tilly and husband Bud FEDECHIN of Campbell River, British Columbia and Elizabeth and husband Tim MALCOLM of Woodstock. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters, Judy, Margaret and Annie. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Ingersoll on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
