HULL, John Gordon
At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday May 1, 2005, John Gordon HULL passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of Darlene M. HULL (née FLEMING/FLEMMING.) Dear father of Crystal McCRUDDEN (Chad) of Cambridge, John HULL (Melanie) of Winnipeg, and devoted Grandad to Evan. Fondly remembered by his family, Jean CARLTON of Stirling, Joyce SIME of Carrying Place, Doug HULL (Mary) of Belleville and Clara DAVENPORT (Don) of Carrying Place. Predeceased by his father William, by his stepmother Mary, sister Rose and by his brother Larry. John was a longtime employee of Lafarge Canada for over 46 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, on Tuesday May 3, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. with The Venerable James DUGAN officiating. BYTHELL, Elizabeth "Bette" Ruth (née LIVINGSTONE)
(November 23, 1915-April 9, 2005)
Peacefully on April 9, 2005 at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre in Ottawa in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald BYTHELL. Loving mother of Ann and Mary and son-in-law David KEYS. Dear Nanny of Ann's children Bronwyn, Signy and Eric and Mary and David's children Christina and Alexandra. Dear aunt of the Livingstone family; Sue McRUER, Joan LIVINGSTONE and Julie HAMMOND and of the Bythell family; Bonnie BYTHELL, Margo KREH, David BYTHELL and Sara SPRAQUE. Daughter of the late Elsie Leatherdale LIVINGSTONE and Herbert LIVINGSTONE. Bette was raised in Shelburne, Ontario with her brother Hugh LIVINGSTONE. After graduation from the Ontario College of Art in 1937, she married Don in 1940. They lived and raised their children in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Bette was a keen athlete throughout her life, enjoying curling and tennis as well as summers at the cottage on Gloucester Pool. A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 10 am. Reception to follow. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at The Perley for their gracious care.

McRUER, Jeffrey Keith
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jeff McRUER, 56, on Sunday, December 18, 2005, at home with his family by his side. Jeff was the beloved husband of Sue (LIVINGSTONE.) He was the devoted son of Margaret (Peg) McRUER, Alliston, Ontario and the late Keith McRUER. Loving father of David, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Ian and Jennifer, East Gore. He is survived by sisters Anne McRUER, North Bay, Ontario; Mary WALLACE, Alliston Joan McFARLAND (John), Cookstown, Ontario; Janet McRUER (Jason), Timmins, Ontario and brother Bob McRUER (Judy,) Seattle, Washington. Jeff was a loving uncle to 10 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother-in-law Bruce WALLACE.
The family will welcome visitors Wednesday, December 21 from 7-9 p.m. in the East Gore Community Hall. A service of remembrance will be held at East Gore United Church at 2 p.m., December 22, Chuck PATTERSON officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rawdon Hills Health Centre, Upper Rawdon, Nova Scotia B0N 2N0 or a charity of your choice.
