ROULSTON, Robert " Bob"
A quiet man has left us. Robert (Bob) ROULSTON passed away on Friday, December 2, 2005 at University Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Doris ROULSTON (née STRIDE.) Wonderful father of Scott (Nancy) ROULSTON of Thorndale, Cathy CREIGHTON (John) of Revelstoke, British Columbia Precious grandfather of Samantha ROULSTON, Sean, Ryan, Nicole and Riley CREIGHTON. Dear brother of Murray (Nancy) ROULSTON. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Also missed by a special friend Leslie FORCE and her son Brandon UZKREIT. The family will receive Friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation in the Chapel Wednesday, December 7th, 2005 from 3-4 p.m. and a celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Victorian Order of Nurses or the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. DOYLE, Stanley Boyce Joseph
Age 75. Passed away peacefully, on April 29, 2005, in Toronto, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family. Stanley, one of 12 children born to N. Wilfred and Mary Frances BOYCE in Saint John, New Brunswick (Retired long-time employee at C.N.T., C.N./C.P. Tel., Unitel-Telecom). Stanley, a loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend to so many, is survived by his children: Susan (John) UZUPIS, Frances (Boyd) PARSONS, Linda (Denis) GUENETTE, and Peter DOYLE (Mary GAGLIANO;) his grandchildren: Bradley, Lauren and Kristyn PARSONS, Samantha and Stephanie GUENETTE, Melissa, Michelle and Vanessa DOYLE. Loving companion of Hilda ENGELMANN and remembered fondly by her family: Dieter, Mary, Matthew and Whitney. Brother to Mary Eleanor, Josephine, Raymond, Gerarda Frances, Beverley, Sara, Audrey, Arthur Syndey, Anita, Jayne and the late Kenneth. He will be dearly missed by all his Friends (the Gagliano family, ex-wife Dora, the boys at Millis Garage), neighbours (on Anglesley Blvd.) and co-workers at C.N./C.P., C.N.T., and Unitel-Telecom. Stanley never knew a stranger and never had a friend he wouldn't help. If riches could be measured by the amount of Friends, then Stanley was surely the richest man on earth. He is loved and cherished, and will forever be missed. Resting at Bernardo Funeral Home, 2960 Dufferin Street (2 streets south of Lawrence Ave.). Visitation on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Bernardo Funeral Home (416-789-7661).
