TARGETT, William " Bill: Lawrence
Of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Called by God at the age of 86, William passed away quietly surrounded by his family on January 15, 2005. He was the son of the late Joseph and Bridget (KENT) TARGETT, the stepson of the late Ned GRIFFIN. He is survived by his three sons, Bill (Kay), Markham, Ontario, Gary (Pauline), Cayman Islands and Brian (Cathy), Sydney, Nova Scotia and his grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Gregory, Cassandra and Jason, who loved their Papa very much. Also survived by one stepbrother, Gerald GRIFFIN of Toronto, a brother-in-law, Tom TAILOR/TAYLOR and sister-in-law, Peggy RYBA- TRAVIS, both of Sydney. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (CLEARY,) sister, Rita TAILOR/TAYLOR, brothers, Leo and Ethelbert, stepbrother, Eddie GRIFFIN and two brothers who died in infancy. Bill worked at the Sydney Steel Plant in the Bar and Rod Mill from 1937-1983, when he retired. He was a Veteran of the Second World War and served overseas from 1941-1946. He spent countless hours on the soccer field and at gymnastics events cheering for his grandchildren and will be missed terribly. He was devoted to his wife and family. His family invite you to celebrate Bill's life at a memorial celebration and mass at Holy Redeemer Church, Sydney, Nova Scotia on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Errol MacDonald officiating. Memorials may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Palliative Care. Condolences may be emailed to the family:

RYBACK, Nicholas
Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Nicholas, in his 81st year, on Monday, May 30th, 2005. Predeceased by his beloved wife Doreen and parents Peter and Annie, he leaves behind his loving daughters Mary ZETTEL (Douglas,) Nancy SARTELL (Douglas) and Susan HONEBROOK. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Dan and sister-in-law Doris. Dede will be sadly missed by grandchildren Kate, Michael, Matthew, Martin and Anna Zettel, Stephen, Colleen and Emily SARTELL, Gregory (deceased,) Andrew and Jennifer HONEBROOK. Special thanks to his caregivers at home and West Park Healthcare Centre. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Thursday, June 2nd from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel Friday, June 3rd at 11 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

At her residence on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, Jennie Marie LAMB of Rodney in her 77th year. Predeceased by her parents John WELDON and Olive BUTSON, husbands William LEWIS and Harold LAMB and daughter Susan RYBARSKY. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her life-time companion Ronald BLACK of Rodney and children Rose Marie GUYITT and her companion David WYLLIE of Duart, Ruth (Lewis) RYBARSKY of London, William LEWIS and his wife Isabel of West Lorne, Wesley LEWIS and his wife Carrie of Edmonton, Donald LEWIS of Edmonton and Mary CLARKE of Edmonton. Also survived by her sister Jacquiline and her husband Dave KRITER of Rodney and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a valued member of Order of the Eastern Star Lodge #169 and an adherent of West Lorne Baptist Church. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Thursday at 11: 30 a.m. Pastor A. KAUPS officiating. An Eastern Star service will be held Wednesday evening at 8: 00 p.m. Cremation.
