OSVATH o@ca.on.york_county.toronto.toronto_star 2005-11-05 published
Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Happily married to her loving husband William OSVATH for 51 years. Helen was a devoted mother to her two sons Bill OSVATH Jr. and Andy OSVATH (Kathryn LANDON) and dedicated nana to her 6 grandchildren: Orion, Jake, Mimi, Evan, Eric, and Kristiina. Arriving from Hungary in 1953, Helen and William settled in the High Park area of Toronto on Quebec Avenue where they raised their family. Helen's warm love, grace, sense of style, sharp intellect, bright smile, and spectacular culinary skills will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. The family wishes to thank Dr. Vincent MAIDA and the entire 9th floor palliative care nursing staff of the William Osler Health Centre, Etobicoke. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. at Windermere, east of Jane subway, on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Service of Remembrance at 3 p.m., followed by a reception. In honour of a beautiful and courageous spirit, please make a donation to the William Osler Health Centre, Etobicoke, Palliative Care Unit.
