ROSALES, Alexis Garcia
Peacefully, on August 21, 2005, at The Toronto General Hospital, at the age of 58. Alexis, beloved husband of Lenora. Dearest Papa of Shannon and her companion Bruce KIM, Alvin and his wife Armin, and Michael. Loving Lolo of Dylan, Brandon, Michael and Deondre MIGUEL. Dear brother of Dennis ROSALES and his wife Fe, Rebecca and her husband Cesar CRUZ, Suzette CRESENCIA and her husband Ted. Loving uncle of Mary Ann and her husband Donnie LOLENG and Lizette. Mr. ROSALES is resting at the Scott Funeral Home, Mississauga Chapel, 420 Dundas St. East (one block west of Cawthra Rd.), 905-272-4040, for visitation on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Friday morning, August 26, 2005 at 10 o'clock in the Chapel, followed by cremation at Saint John's Dixie Crematorium, Mississauga, Ontario.

MERCHANT, Lloyd Ross
A resident of Blenheim, passed away Monday, September 19, 2005 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus. Born 72 years ago in Norwich Township in Oxford County to the late Thomas and Ola (TAIT/TAITE/TATE) MERCHANT. Dear father of Greg MERCHANT and his wife Margaret of London. Also surviving is his previous wife Pauline HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and a brother James MERCHANT and his wife Zora of Alberta. Predeceased by his sister Shirley LOLLINGER and a brother Lyle MERCHANT. Lloyd was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 185 and was a Life Member of the Masonic Lodge, Palestine Chapter. Visitation will take place at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home, 60 Stanley Street, Blenheim, on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 12: 00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service for Mr. MERCHANT will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 2: 00 p.m. with the Reverend Bill TERRIS of the Blenheim Baptist Church officiating. As expressions of sympathy, Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Mr. MERCHANT, are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society. SWEENEY, Dr. David Michael Currie, B.A., M.A., PhD.
(September 28, 1934-May 8, 2005)
Suddenly at home, on Mother's Day and the Feast of the Ascension, David went to his eternal rest to greet his mother who died when he was born, Margaret Jean Currie SWEENEY. Dearly loved husband of 45 years of Ethelmae O'REILLY.
Predeceased by his father Francis T.J. SWEENEY, his step-mother Mary DOHERTY and his half brother Michael. Survived by his aunt E. Patricia SWEENEY, his in-laws Doctors John and Shirley O'REILLY and his nieces and nephews Michael (Heather,) Susan ALBINO (Rob,) Sean (Julie) and Anne BROWN (Don.) Also survived by his extended family Margaret LOLLS of British Columbia, Jack of British Columbia, Frank of Toronto, Kathleen of Toronto and second half cousin Marilyn DOWLING and Josephine GLASS.
David was a proud graduate of De La Salle, Oaklands and the University of Toronto, receiving his PhD in Math and Physics. He was a proud Canadian who worked for the Department of National Defense at Shirley Bay, National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa and D.R.B. Toronto.
Visitation at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York on Tuesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. Prayers at 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10: 30 a.m., 3220 Bayview Avenue, Toronto. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
