Passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 8, 2005, 3 days after celebrating his 56th birthday with his partner Sharon, his Mom, Toni and his brother, Steve. Phil was passionate about organ donation and was active in the Kidney Foundation. He offered inspiration to dialysis patients in both Barrie and Orillia. Phil was an avid golfer, an eager fisherman and a great fixer-upper (especially Sharon's place). He loved music and for many years worked as a disc jockey. He was an artist. Phil will be remembered as a great partner to Sharon, wonderful son to Toni and the late Bill, a courageous and funny brother to David, Susan, Rick and Steve and their partners, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin, godson and godfather and friend to many. He was our hero. Sharon PATTERSON and his family thank Dr. Leo LAM, Dr. Mark ITALIANO and Dr. CREWE for their incredible care through the years. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Phil's favourite charity - Regional Dialysis Programme, Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, 170 Colborne St. W., Orillia, Ontario L3V 2Z3. A casual gathering will be held to celebrate Phil's life on Tuesday, December 13 at 1: 00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 105 Industrial Parkway N. (Industrial Parkway N. of Wellington), Aurora. Phone 905-727-9932. Cremation has taken place through Peaceful Transition.
