Jean went to be with "The Good Lord" in her 91st year, on Sunday morning, 26th June 2005. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 35 years, Peter HNIDAN; sons: Rick RICHARDSON (Carol,) London, Ontario, Jim RICHARDSON, Vancouver, British Columbia, Dennis HNIDAN (Effie;) daughter, Kathleen HNIDAN (Debbie;) grandchildren: Bruce RICHARDSON, Lynn RICHARDSON- MILLS, Sue-Anne RICHARDSON- SIARTO, Jason and Jared RICHARDSON (Vancouver,) Kevin, Darren and Kory HNIDAN (Calgary;) and also seven great-grandchildren (resident in Ontario, North Carolina and Calgary).
Jean SNEZICK was born in London, Ontario and attended Aberdeen Public School. After a brief period of employment at Hotel London in her early working years, Jean served with the Red Cross as an Ambulance Driver in London, Ontario, throughout World War 2, and later worked in Calgary with Red Cross Blood Donor Services, criss-crossing Alberta with their mobile clinics throughout many outlying communities. We will miss her wisdom and laughter. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, June 29th, 2005 at 3: 00 p.m. Family flowers only please; donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully appreciated.

Passed away at West Park Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Helen for 50 years. Much loved father of Danny RADOS and his wife Sara. Loving grandfather of Sarah and Melissa (predeceased), and their mother. Dear brother of Marie MATOUSEK and Anna VESELY and the late Pepicek and Fanda. Brother-in-law of Walter HNIDEK (Heidi) and Victor HNIDEK (Jean.) Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon until the Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Entombment Park Lawn Cemetery.
