Music lover. Survived by devoted husband Bob and children, Jessica, Jenifer and Greg and grandchildren, Kelly, Leah, Joshua and Jordan. Donations should be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Memorial service April 26, 2 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street, Toronto.

ERLENDSON, Myrna Joy "Jackie" (née CALVERT)
Suddenly, Friday evening, April 22, 2005, in her 68th year. Survived by her loving husband of 41 years Robert (Bob,) sons Mark CRAWFORD (Brenda) (Regina), Greg MARTEL (Toronto), daughters Jenifer (Toronto) and Jessica (Calgary,) six grandchildren Cory and Kelly CRAWFORD (Regina), Leah and Kelly MARTEL (Toronto), Joshua and Jason (Calgary), brother Stan CALVERT (Regina,) best friend Lorraine GILROY (Toronto,) predeceased by sons Darryl MARTEL (1956) and Jeffrey MARTEL (1992.) Jackie was a talented child performer of many venues raised in Regina who has a spiritual relationship with Jaw and enjoyed all good things that life has to offer. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 26 at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street, Toronto, 416-603-1444 for a small service at 2: 00 p.m.

ERLEY, Harry
Retired from Toronto Board of Education. It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Harry ERLEY on Monday, November 28, 2005 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Bernice, née WISDOM, for 54 years. Loving father of Kathleen PARK, Thomas (Lynne) and Robert (Charlene). Deeply missed by his grandchildren Michelle LORENZ (Michael,) Laura CURRY (Michael,) Dawn and Riley and two great-grandchildren Emily CURRY and Joshua LORENZ. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 2nd, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

CAPE, John Meredith
Died peacefully in his 95th year on January 18, 2005 at his home in Victoria, British Columbia. Predeceased by his loving wife Betty OGILVIE in 1972 and his cherished wife Nini MacDOUGALL in 1996 and his loving son David in 2000. Dearly loved father of Christopher (Bev,) Mary USHER- JONES and Susie (Rob RUTTAN,) father-in-law of Sylvia CAPE, step-father of Diana JOHNSON and Alan MacDOUGALL. He loved and took great pride in his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Dr. David CAPE of Montreal. Born in Montreal, he was educated at Trinity College School, McGill University and Royal Military College. He joined EGM Cape (General Contractors) in 1933 as a field engineer and retired as President and Chairman in 1971 after a career encompassing projects in Canada, Great Britain, South America and the Caribbean. During World War 2 he served with the Royal Canadian Artillery in Sicily and Italy and following the war was Commander of the Montreal Reserve Artillery Unit until his retirement as Brigadier General. He will always be loved and remembered for his generosity, incredible strength, unselfish nature, sense of humour and quick wit. He had many hobbies and interests including woodworking, music, travelling and nature
his inquisitive mind inspired all who knew him. The family is deeply grateful to all his wonderful caregivers especially Mila and Nikola ERLIC. Funeral Service will be held in Victoria at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 22 at Saint Mary's Church, Oak Bay. Interment to be held at a later date at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Passed away, Sunday, July 24, 2005. Predeceased by her parents Olive (ERLY) and Howard BRAY; brothers Frank, Walter, William (Bill), and Edward. Retired employee of the Toronto-Dominion Bank. A Requiem Mass will take place at Holy Family Church, 1372 King St. West (416-532-2879), on Tuesday, August 2nd at 8: 00 p.m. Special thanks to Marlene and Jim NODWELL for their loving care of their longtime friend.
