LEHR, Amanda (née WEISS)
Amanda of Saint Thomas on Thursday, July 28, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Emil LEHR (1990) and dearly loved mother of Delores BUYE of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Loretta LEHR of St. Angus, Quebec, Sheila and her husband Bev MIZON of Saint Thomas, Janice and husband Adrianus VANDERMYDEN of Brooks, Alberta. Dear sister of Raymond WEISS and Rosie KRUGER both of Medicine Hat. Predeceased by a brother Emile WEISS and a sister Martha EHRET. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Amanda was born in Hilda, Alberta on November 8, 1917 the daughter of the late John K. and Rosena (JESKE) WEISS. She was a retired Nurses Aid and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until Tuesday afternoon and then to Redeemer Lutheran Church where funeral service will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Passed away peacefully, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfons. Loving mother of Renate GITTENS and her husband Joe, Dietmar and his wife Linda, and predeceased by her son Uwe. Dear grandmother of Mark, Lisa, Kim, and the late Christina. Survived by brothers Willi and Gerhard BOTHE and her sisters Gerda NESTLER and Helga EHRHARDT of Germany and Colorado. Predeceased by her sister Erna SEIBEL. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10, North of Queen Elizabeth Way), from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Suddenly and peacefully at his residence Bruno EHRISMANN of London and formerly of Woodstock in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Mary C. (CLEMENT) EHRISMANN and dearly loved father of Barb (Doug) RIORDAN of Fraser Lake, British Columbia; Jim (Shannon) EHRISMANN of Ottawa; Ann (Joe) AFONSO of Woodstock; and Dave (Heidi) EHRISMANN of Hamilton. Bruno will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Kelly and Devin; Fiona and Benjamin; Jenn, Joe and Matt; Hunter, Tristin and Trinity. Predeceased by a granddaughter Holly. Dear brother of Walter (Leonie) EHRISMANN of Switzerland. A private service of remembrance celebrating the life of Bruno will be held on Monday June 13, 2005. Lily GLAZERMAN, daughter of the late Minnie and Leo RABINOVITCH was born in Ituna, Saskatchewan in 1920. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold GLAZERMAN of Calgary. She was the sister of David RABINOVITCH (deceased) and Goldie FURMAN. She passed away peacefully at Mt. Sinai Hospital on January 28, 2005, comforted by the love of her family including her daughters Brenda GLAZERMAN of Vancouver and Marsha ROTHSTEIN of Toronto and son-in-law Marty ROTHSTEIN. She was the adoring Baba of Rebecca and David EHRLICH, Michael ROTHSTEIN, Laura ROTHSTEIN, Tracy BOOTSMA, Jessica and Sara KNIGHT. Her great grandchildren Britney, Mariah (deceased,) Josh, Nicole and Michelle gave her much joy in her later years. Lily will be remembered fondly by her many Friends including the staff and residents of The Bradgate Arms. We will cherish the memories of her sweet and generous nature and in particular her delightful warm smile that drew us all to her. Passed away suddenly in Holland on July 4, 2005. All of her family was present to celebrate her 90th birthday, but saddened by her unexpected loss. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Jochebed KATAN (Kingston,) Nico and Sheila KATAN (England,) Hedie and Arnie UNGER (Toronto,) and Evelien and Ed EHRLICH- KATAN (Holland.) Wonderful grandmother to Hajo and Linda SCHIMMELPENNINGH (Belgium,) Marjoleine and Robbert DE WILD (Holland,) Lucy and Simon KATAN (England,) Tanya and Justin SWARTZ (Toronto,) and Danielle FLETCHER (England).
