Suddenly, at his residence in Toronto, on Tuesday, January 18th, 2005 at the age of 85. Beloved partner of Margaret EDLER. Fedor will be fondly remembered by his extended family Karl, Rose (Ted), Rolf (Marion) and younger generation Kristin, Paul, Jordon, Lynley and Joanna. Fedor will be sadly missed by family and Friends in both Germany and Canada. His wonderfully entertaining stories as life as a Sea Captain sailing the globe kept many listeners enthralled, as did his extensive knowledge of history and its peoples. A private family memorial will be held at a future time. Suddenly at his residence on Saturday September 17, 2005. Dennis Lee EDLINGTON of Nesbitt Cres., Woodstock in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Joanne Marie EDLINGTON (née SMITH.) Beloved son of Helen WILSDON (Gerald) of London. Cherished father of Terri EDLINGTON (Andrew) and Robert EDLINGTON all of Woodstock. Loved brother of Joanne SIMPSON and her husband Wayne of Kintore. Dear son-in-law of Jewel and Gordon SMITH of Fort Erie and brother-in-law of Gail HOLLINGSHEAD and her husband John of Waterloo. Special uncle of Travis and Ben WINDLING and Kimberley and Brian HOLLINGSHEAD. Dennis was employed with the O.P.P. for over 31 years, retiring in 2003 as Staff Sargeant. He worked in various detachments including, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Orillia, Minden, Waterdown and Simcoe and currently was employed with the Township of Zorra and South West Oxford as a bylaw officer. Dennis was a longtime member of Lions Club International and was currently President of the Lions Club of Woodstock and a volunteer with the United Way of Oxford. Predeceased by his father James Ross EDLINGTON. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Celebration of Dennis' life will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. Contributions to the Lions Foundation of Canada- Dog Guides would be appreciated. Peacefully at Longworth Long Term Care, London on Sunday, November 20, 2005 Lola Eveline (TURNER) TWEDDLE, formerly of McGillivray Township in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth S. TWEDDLE (1967). Dear mother of Sheila DAVEY (Bob), Sharon DAWSON (George) of London and Valerie FRIGAULT (Alban) of Toronto and Chris YOUNG of London. Dearly loved grandmother of Deanna and Jason, Laura and Gord, Tonya and Jesse, Adam and Lucas, and John, Matthew and Tai-Rong, and Tara. Dear great-grandmother of Alice, Eva, Will, and Spencer, Elysha. Dear sister of Viola EASTMAN of Arkona. Predeceased by brother Earl TURNER and Norma EDLINGTON and son-in-law Frank FOERSTER. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at T. Stephenson & son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig from 2-5 p.m. on Monday, November 21 and 1 hour prior to the memorial service which will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 2 p.m. Cremation with interment of ashes at Mars Hill Cemetery at a later date.
