LOWES, James Wilbur
At the Woodstock General Hospital on January 19, 2005, James Wilbur LOWES, of Norwich, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Betty LOWES (Waud) of 20 years. son of the late Milton and Ella LOWES. Step-father of Maurice WAUD and wife Joan of Norwich, Doreen and husband Don COOK of Binbrook, Donna and husband Wayne BEAM of Manitoulin Island, Clarence and wife Joy of Colorado, and Larry LOWES and wife Colleen of Seaforth. Beloved grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Lorene LOWES of Ingersoll and Jean HUGGINS of Woodstock; brother-in-law of Josephine LOWES of R.R.#4 Woodstock and Andy TAILOR/TAYLOR of Straffordville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harold (2000,) sister Muriel (1928,) and brother-in-law Joe HUGGINS (2003). Friends will be received at The Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main St. W., Norwich on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Wilbur's life will be held at the Norwich Baptist Church on Saturday, January 22nd at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Kent BABBEY and Pastor Andy BRNDJAR officiating. MILLER, Harvey M.
At Bobier Villa, Dutton, on Sunday, March 6th, 2005, Harvey M. MILLER, formerly of Rodney, in his 103rd year. Born in Aldborough Township, a son of Peter and Catherine MILLER, he was predeceased by his wife Wilden (1997,) daughter Joyce CANTELON (1991,) brothers Arthur and Eldon MILLER, sister Orpha AULD and two grandchildren. Dearly loved by his daughter Marilyn and her husband Glen RUMBLE of Rodney, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was a charter member of the Rodney Kiwanis Club and served as Lt. Governor of the Division. He was a well-respected school teacher, insurance agent and community member. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where service will be held on Thursday at 11 am with the Reverend Andrew BRNDJAR officiating. Interment Rodney Cemetery. Formerly of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully at the Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William Gordon OSBORNE (1972.) Loving mother of William OSBORNE and his wife Betty of Port Lambton. Cherished grandmother of Kelly CRAWFORD and her husband Scott of Blenheim, Kimberly OSBORNE and her special companion Doug ARTHUR of Kent Bridge and great-grandmother of Jennifer, Joel and Logan. Dear sister of Doris VALENTINE of Michigan, Nina JOHNSON and her husband Drew of Tennessee and Paul EVELY and his wife Ottolyn of Kentucky. Predeceased by 1 sister and 4 brothers and 1 great-granddaughter Jamie. Friends will be received at the Ostrander's Funeral Home, Tillsonburg (842-5221) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Andrew BRNDJAR officiating.
