Francis Joseph Alphonse FOLZ
In loving memory of Francis Joseph Alphonse FOLZ who passed away at his home on Sunday May 9, 2004 at age 70.
A former long time member of the Masons and Legion, Francis was in the Peace Keeping Corp. in the Canadian Armed Forces for 13 years. Predeceased by wife of 28 years, Ella FOLZ (née HARGRAVE.) Cherished father of Duncan and wife Joanne MacINNES of Lake Dalrymple, David (predeceased 2000) wife Jackie of North Bay, Marie BYLOW and Tim of Orillia. Will be greatly missed by grandchildren Victoria, Kyle, Benjamin, Joy, Ashley, Dakota, Alexander, Michelle, Matthew and Cassidy. Dear brother of Angie and Bill HANNAH, Fritz and Saya, Gerry (predeceased) and Betty, Don and Betty Ann, Alfred and Pat, Patrick and Shirley, Beatrice (Gilles predeceased) DUFOUR. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held at Island Funeral Home at 11 am, Thursday May 13, 2004. Cremation with memorial service was held at Island Funeral Home at 2 pm, Tuesday May 4, 2004.

SUMPTON, Wilfred Melvin
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, in Southampton, on Monday, December 27th, 2004, at the age of 99 years. Wilfred SUMPTON, of Port Elgin, husband for seventy-six years of the late Ora McINTEE. Father of Mervin, of Owen Sound, Donald and Reg and his wife, Barb, all of Windsor. He is survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren and his sister, Nellie MILLER, of Port Elgin. He is predeceased by one brother, Albert and by one sister, Henrietta CURRY and daughter-in-law, Clara. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 30th. Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday at 11: 00 a.m. with Elder Alma LEEDER officiating. Interment, Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. Dalton Arden WRIGHT
In loving memory of Dalton Arden WRIGHT, October 9, 1921 - September 22, 2004.
The family announces with sorrow, the death of Dalton WRIGHT, 82 years of age of Gore Bay, who passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current. He was born in Gordon Township, son of the late Orpha and Leonard WRIGHT. He married Anna WRIGHT in 1945 in Gore Bay. After his discharge from the Navy, he spent his working career predominately driving trucks and farming. A long time resident of Gore Bay, he was a renowned gardener that enjoyed sharing his produce with many customers. He enjoyed other hobbies such as hunting, playing cards, watching and following sports and socializing with everyone who came to visit. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 514, Gore Bay. Dalton was predeceased by his beloved wife Anna, December 15, 1998. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by children Dianne (Eugene) MOKOHONUK of Espanola, Ken (Earlene) of Gore Bay, Patsy (Cheyenne) NICHOLSON of Orillia and Jim (Dayle) of Gore Bay. Loved grandfather of Dalton Roy MOKOHONUK, Doug, Rhonda, Rodney, Dwayne and Darcy HOPKIN, Cheyenne NICHOLSON and Brandon and Daylin WRIGHT and great grandchildren Logan MOKOHONUK, Michelle and Shaun MacINTYRE, Autumn and Alyssa HOPKIN and Jordan SAMPLE. Loving brother of Blair (Doris) of Collingwood, Gladys (Grant, predeceased) BEANGE of Garson, Leon (John, predeceased) DOLLAR of Cambridge. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay after 7 pm on Friday. The Funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 11 am with Pastor Maxine McVEY officiating. Interment in Gordon Cemetery.
