After a brave battle and lengthy illness, on November 11, 2002. Beloved husband of Doris Pearl WELLS for 59 years. Dear father of Sharron BUCHANAN and her husband Doug, Valerie WEBER and her husband Grant, Lynda DANBY and her husband Ken, Raymond and his wife Marilyn. Proud grandfather of Paul and Susan BUCHANAN, Todd BUCHANAN, Kimberley and Deryck SCHWARTZ, Andrea WEBER and James WEST, Christopher and Laura DANBY, Lauralea and Jim PETERSON, Steven, Gregory, Carrie-Lyn and Karen WHITING. Grandpapa to Ashley, Elizabeth, Erin DANBY, Garrett, Brianna, Aspen and Chantelle SCHWARTZ. Dear brother of Pamela HOLMES, Ray and his wife Jeanine, Ken and his wife Marlene, Carol and her husband Joe DUGGAN, Gordon, Diane and her husband Peter WAKEFIELD, and Gwen KLEIN. Predeceased by brother Tony. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Chapel, 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Friday, November 15, 2002 at 10 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

WAKEFIELD, Harold Thomas -- Suddenly, at Mount Sinai Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2002, at the age of 72 years. Husband of the late Dawn Yvonne WAKEFIELD. Harold will be sadly missed by his loving partner and friend Joan. Loving father of Sonya and her partner Andrew, Shane and his partner Shelagh. Cherished grandfather of Sydney, Dawson, and Sebastian. Harold's zest for life and outgoing personality will be sorely missed by all family members and his many Friends. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, November 17th. Service in the Chapel on Monday, November 18th at eleven o'clock. Cremation to follow at a later date. If desired, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

LONGO, Lynne Marie -- After a valiant and courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis in her 41st year, on Saturday, December 21st, 2002. Dearly beloved daughter of Marion (née PYCHE) and John LONGO. Dear sister and precious friend of Cathy and her husband Brian WAKEFORD, Jackie and her husband Ed TOKARZ and Andrea and her husband Brent CURTIS. Dearly loved aunt of Benjamin, Zachary and Naomi WAKEFORD, Evan and Matthew TOKARZ and Samuel CURTIS. Dear granddaughter of Rosie LONGO. Predeceased by her grandparents Sam LONGO and Ralph and Margaret PYCHE. Funeral service will be held at 1: 30 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1421 Lansdowne Street West in Peterborough, on Monday, December 23, 2002. Pastor Maureen Patrick will officiate. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens in Peterborough. In lieu of flowers and with Lynne's appreciation memorial donations to The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Ontario Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - Toronto Office, or The Toronto Humane Society would be welcome. Margaret Eva RIVERS
In loving memory of Margaret Eva RIVERS, November 15, 1922 to November 18, 2002.
Margaret E. RIVERS, a resident of Wikwemikong, died at her residence on Monday November 18, 2002 at the age of 80 years. She was born in Wikwemikong, daughter of the late Alexander and Annie WAKEGIJIG) RECOLLET. Margaret worked as a nurse's aide for many years at the Toronto General Hospital and the Wikwemikong Nursing Home. Margaret enjoyed knitting, gardening and fishing. Dearly loved and loving wife of Wilfred Rivers predeceased Oct. 1991, loved and loving mother of Bonita KABONI, Eleanor RIVERS, Elizabeth FOX, Brenda SHAWANDA, Wilfred "Buddy" RIVERS, Marion RIVERS and predeceased by one son Julian RIVERS. Margaret will be greatly missed by her 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Vera PITAWANAKWAT of Wikwemikong, Norman RECOLLET of Wahnapitae and Isadore of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by brothers Phillip, Sam and Eli and sister Stella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the Rabbit Island Community Centre on Wednesday November 20. The funeral mass was held from the Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong on Friday, November 22, 2002 with Father Douglas McCarthy officiating. Interment will take place at the Wikwemikong Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home
