D'AMBROSIO, Nicola -- Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 22, 2002 at the Humber River Regional Hospital, Church Site following a courageous and enlightening ten year battle against prostate cancer. During his medical therapies, Nicola willingly volunteered for two new research treatments for the disease in order to help future generations of similarly affected men live more productive lives. This is the spirit in which Nicola lived his entire life - helping others; whether family, friend or stranger. Dear father and remembered fondly by sons Mark and Claudio. Nicola will be greatly missed by Claudio's wife Maria and grandchildren, Lisa and David. Nicola was a tower of strength to his sisters; Lucia, Vicenza, Speranza, Maria, Santina and Giussepina. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the professional and compassionate care that Nicola received over the last eighteen months from Dr. W. KWANT and the entire chemotherapy team at Humber River Regional Hospital, Church Site.
