WATSON, Bette Lynn -- Suddenly, after a brief illness, at Toronto East General Hospital on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, Bette beloved wife of the late Roy WYATT. Dear sister of David and his wife Rose, and cherished aunt of Robert. Loving companion of Bill CHUBB. Will be sadly missed by her relatives and Friends. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East (Between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Service on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in St. Columba Anglican Church (St. Clair Ave., east of O'Connor). Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Predeceased by her elder daughter, Maureen S., Dianne was mother of Patricia and mother-in-law of Matthew CHURCH; grandmother of Alice and Olivia; sister and sister-in-law of John BROWN (deceased,) Virginia ''Peach'' ROBERTSON, Norma SCARBOROUGH, Pat SKIPPON, Jeanelle SAVONA, Gloria BALDWIN, Bud BALDWIN, Charles BROWN (deceased), Murn BROWN, David BROWN, Maggie SIMMONS, Michael BROWN (deceased,) and Marigold ''Mal'' WILSON longtime friend of Ken CAVANAGH; daughter-in-law of the late Jack and Lorna CAVANAGH of Scarborough; sister-in-law of the late Joan FISHER (née CAVANAGH;) cousin, aunt and friend to many. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Service in the chapel on Saturday afternoon at one o'clock followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Dianne's name, gifts to the Palliative Care Unit of Bridgepoint Health (formerly Riverdale Hospital), 14 St. Matthews Road, Toronto M4M 2B5, would be appreciated by her family in gratitude for the care she received there.

Beloved wife of the late Russell CURTIS. Loving mother of James and his wife Sue of Honey Harbour, Wayne and his wife Brenda of Lindsay, and Lois and her husband Stephen SCHMIDT of Bolsover. Dear grandmother of William, Peter, Russell, Janice, Bruce, Jeffery and predeceased by Brian. Dear great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren. BYRON, Robert Paul -- (Former Vice-President, Creative Director, J. Walter Thompson). As a result of injuries sustained as a traffic accident victim on January 23, 2002, Robert Paul BYRON, age 66, passed away November 11, 2002. Bob fought a courageous battle for nearly 10 months and his strength was an inspiration to many. Predeceased by wife Shirley CADE and parents Dorothy and Joseph, Bob spent his last days loved by a circle of Friends who were with him until the end. Bob will be sadly missed by Cerina CHURCHILL- WADE, husband Glen WADE and children Katie and Braxton, Steve PERNIE, Yvonne McKINNON, Greg GREASON and Jo-Ann BREHM. In accordance with Bob's wishes, a cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Bob's life will be arranged at a later date. His Friends would like to thank the nursing staff of the Special Care Unit, Toronto Rehab Institute, Dunn Avenue, for their compassion and splendid care. Kind thanks are also extended to the Brandolini, Paiva and Zardo families for their strength and encouragement. Arrangements were entrusted to Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel 416-924-1408.
