In loving memory of Zella Ida McCUTCHEON née VANHORN on Sunday, August 26, 2001 at Manitoulin Health Center at the age of 92.
Predeceased by husband Harold Oscar McCUTCHEON. She will be sadly missed by children James Thomas McCUTCHEON (wife Nancy), Marilyn Ann McFADDEN (husband Ross), Harold Junior McCUTCHEON (wife Mary Ann). Beloved grandmother of Terry (Judy) McCUTCHEON, Cathy (Dave) PERKINS, Sandy (Arran) CAMPBELL, Rhona (Michael) CORRIGAN, Robin (Lee) McNISH. Great grandmother of Zachary CORRIGAN, Meghan, Cailey and Corey McCUTCHEON, Leeann and Sara PERKINS, Cassic and Dedlaney CAMPBELL. Predeceased by parents Susan and Thomas VANHORN. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Violet McCUTCHEON (husband Clifford,) Sadie SMELTZER (husband Watson,) Clifford VANHORN, George VANHORN (wife Irene,) survived by sister-in-law Marjorie VANHORN. Zella is 2001 Grandmother of the Year. She worked for the Canadian Red Cross for many years, in many locations, such as Nipigon, Lions head and St. Joseph's Island. She retired in 1975 from Mindemoya Red Cross Hospital, where she had served for 39 years. Zella was a beautiful knitter and all her children and grandchildren benefited and enjoyed her wonderful creations. She loved sports of all kinds and curled until she as well over 80 years old. Her particular and great interest was in the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs, watching them faithfully on TV. Visitation Monday August 27, 2001 at 1: 00pm. Funeral service at 2 Wednesday August 29, 2001 at the Mindemoya United Church with Reverend Mary Jo Tracy officiating. Burial to be held in Mindemoya Cemetery. Arrangement in care of Island Funeral Home.
