YEANDLE, Ora May (née DADSON)
Passed away at her late residence, Caressant Care on Bonnie Place, Saint Thomas on Friday, July 18, 2008, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Ian YEANDLE (1976.) Dearly loved mother of the late John Marshall (Julia of Sparta). Lovingly remembered by 5 grandchildren, Susan (Whit), Mary (Jonathon), Joan, Tom (Tammy) and Allan, and 8 great-grandchildren, Peter, Adam, James, Julia, Amanda, Eddie, Ryan and Julie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Ora was the last surviving member of her own immediate family, having been predeceased by 6 brothers, Art, Harris, Charlie, Albert, Lee and Jim Dadson. Born in Port Stanley, Ontario, May 21, 1908, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucy (HARRIS) DADSON. She resided in Saint Thomas since 1961. Ora was a member of the Saint Thomas Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She was a Past President and the oldest surviving member of the Original Seniors Citizens Club 37. Ora was active in fundraising, organizing bus trips, teas and many other activities for the community, and her contributions as a volunteer for many years was recognized by a plaque from the City of Saint Thomas. As a young couple, Ora and her husband Ian worked with local youth as baseball coaches and as square dancing instructors. Their square dance teams from junior to senior participated in local fairs and competitions, winning many awards. Friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral and committal service will be held Monday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to be made privately in the Saint Thomas Cemetery, West Avenue

BIRCHALL, Sheila Elizabeth (formerly ARGENT, née YEATES)
Passed away on Friday April 4, 2008 at Parkwood Hospital, age 80. Beloved wife of the late Norman BIRCHALL (2003) and the late George ARGENT (1970.) Cherished and dearly loved mother of James ARGENT and his wife Liisa and Joanne PUTTOCK and her husband Doug. Loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by special granddaughter Sarah and close Friends. At Sheila's request, cremation will be followed by a private interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Woodbridge, Ontario. Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2008 at Mt. Hope Long Term Care Centre in London in her 94th year. Mother of Wayne and Meg WALDEN of Ingersoll; Sharron and Ron YOUNG of London Gayle and Bill NAGLE of Grand Bend; Brian WALDEN of London; and Catherine and Willie YEATS of London. Grandmother and Great-grandmother of John and Momoyo WALDEN of Toronto; Shawn and Julie and Amber and Devon YOUNG of London; Keri and Doctor Jon and Mallory PRYCHITKO of Fredericton, New Brunswick; David and Melissa and Jake and Julia NAGLE of Cambridge; Brad and Diana and Emma Mae NAGLE of London; Candace and Eric MISKELLY of Port Elgin; Michelle and Logan WALDEN of London; and Shayne and Dana YEATS of London. Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews of the Ted NEUMANN and J.C. WALDEN Families. Family and Friends will be received at John T. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Michael's Church, 515 Cheapside Street, London on Saturday morning, April 26 at 11 o'clock. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery, London.
