WILKINSON, Earl Burnett " Burn"
Loving husband for 65 years of Doris (née McCREA.) Burn passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2008 with his wife and family at his side. He was the proud father of Ron, Beth, Jim, and Greg, and grandfather of Geoffrey, Devin, Lindsay, Bradley, Stuart, Katelyn, Joshua, and Brianna and great-grandfather of Araceli and Sophie. Burn was born in Normanby Township, Ontario in 1916. He landed on Juno Beach on D-Day and was later wounded in France as a Major in the Regina Rifles. Burn retired after a long and successful career in funeral supply and financial planning and was also an active Rotarian since 1971. Burn had a positive impact, in his joyful way, on many people in church, family, business, and community.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive Friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. McCREA, Arthur Elmer (1914-2008)
Died peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans' Hospital, July 16, 2008. Arthur is lovingly remembered by his wife Harriet, children Jim, Jane and Julia, and grandchildren Kate and Max. Arthur served in the Royal Canadian Air Force World War 2, was a retiree of the T. Eaton Company of Canada, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Delta Upsilon fraternity. He was an alumnus of the University of Toronto. A private family service was held. Interment at Aurora Cemetery. Condolences can be expressed at: condolenceswww.rskane.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a hospital, educational institution or charity of your choice.

HORCHIK, Dorothy Ann (née NOBLE) (1933-2008)
Dorothy passed away at Lisaard House hospice in Cambridge, Ontario on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the age of 75. Dorothy will be remembered for her compassion and for her love of life. Dorothy is survived by her children Dan HORCHIK, Lynn MORTIMER and John HORCHIK, her daughters-in-law Christine JORDON and Emma HORCHIK, and her grandchildren Correne MORTIMER, Melissa MORTIMER, Geoffrey MORTIMER and Erin HORCHIK. Dorothy is also survived by sisters Joan SCRIVER and Jean NOBLE. Predeceased by her parents, her brother Bill NOBLE, and her sister Barbara McCREA. Relatives and Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy during visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, Ontario on Saturday, March 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Dorothy's life and faith will be held at Creekside Church, 660 Conservation Drive, Waterloo, on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. A reception will follow at the Church. Suddenly at his residence in Ingersoll on Saturday, April 5, 2008, Fred WILFORD, in his 65th year, formerly of Salford. Beloved husband of Jean (McCREADY) WILFORD. Dear father of Bill and his wife Karen of Salford and Mike and his wife Angie of Norwich. Dear grandfather of Allison, Rebecca, Emily, Dylen and Nathan. Dear brother of Blanche and her husband Bob WARBOYS of Huntsville, Gordon WILFORD of Woodstock and Don WILFORD and his wife Marie of Norwich. Dear brother-in-law of Bill and Marg McCREADY of Windsor. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Fred operated the service station in Salford for 32 years, was a councillor of the Township of Southwest Oxford for 9 years, a member of the Mt. Elgin Fire Department for 33 years being District Chief and Chief in Mt. Elgin for 26 years. He was Past Master of Dereham Lodge #624 and currently Master of Saint_John's Lodge #68, Ingersoll. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. Beloved mother of John (Elinor) WEST, Martha (Steven) MARKS and Peter (Kathy) WESAINT_Dear grandmother of David and Jennifer WEST, Heather and Trevor MARKS, Lauren and Michael WEST, all of Essex County. Dear sister to Mary GRUNDY of Arnprior. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A member of the Paulin Memorial Presbyterian Church, Margaret was also a life member of Essex Golf and Country Club and a longtime member of Maycourt Club of Windsor.
