INKSTER, Shirley
In loving memory of a dear wife and mother, Shirley, who. passed away January 24, 1999.
You suffered much in silence
Your spirit did not bend
You faced your pain with courage
Until the very end
You tried so hard to stay with us
But now you are at rest
We will always love you Shirley
You were the very best
They say there is a reason
They say that time will heal
But neither time nor reason
Can change the way we feel.
- Loved and missed always and forever by your husband Brian and your daughter Cheryl.

INKSTER, Shirley
In loving memory of my dear mother, Shirley who passed away January 24, There is a bridge of memories
From here to heaven above
That keeps you very close to me
It's called the "Bridge of Love"
As time goes by without you
And the days turn into years
I hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears
To me you were so special
What more is there to say
Except I wish with all my heart
That you were here today
Happy Birthday Mom
- Loved and missed more each day, until we meet at the "bridge" someday, your daughter Cheryl.

COLE, Ronald Denis
On the morning of 17 January, Ronald Denis COLE passed away peacefully at his home in Oakville, Ontario, surrounded by family and Friends. A good man, he was considerate, wise, full of integrity and truth. Sang out of tune, but had the makings of Johnny Cash. Born 15 Feb 1942 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan to Norman COLE and Myrtle (née) INKSTER. Life led him to Uni. of Saskatchewan, a career in the Air Force, an MBA at Sherbrooke University, and then to Europe where he met and married Hazel (née) EGAN ('I think I'll marry you!'). They lived in Paris, France until a job at Xerox brought the family back to Canada, to Montreal in 1977. 10 years later Ron became Chief Executive Officer of Hawker Siddeley and the family moved to Oakville, Ontario. Equally important, Ron joined the Mississaugua Golf Club in 1989 and became a member of the 'Tuesday golfers'. Pre-deceased by his brother Allan INKSTER and sister Doreen COLE, he will be sadly missed by his wife Hazel children Sandra (Svenn), Robert (Isabelle) and Jacky; family Donna, Greg (Andrea) and Lee INKSTER; and Friends. Thank-you to the physicians and staff at Peel Regional Cancer Centre and the palliative care team in Oakville - the healthcare Ron had was exemplary. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21 at the Mississaugua Golf Club, Mississauga. Ron's family will receive Friends at noon, with a memorial service starting at 12: 30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation Cancer Centre.
