Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Thursday, June 21st, 2007. Derril Roberta Maxine CLOSE, of Owen Sound, in her 65th year. Loving mother of Karolyn KING and her husband, James, of Edmonton, John BITTORF and his wife, Tessa, of Owen Sound and Janice BEATTIE and her husband, Walter SCHORBACH, of Massie. Proud grandmother of Jodie, David, Jonathon, Alex, Julia, Steven and Allan. Derril was the dear sister of Merrilyn RYDALL, of Oliphant; the beloved twin sister of Sherril SEVIER and her husband, Jack, of Paris; the most cherished sister of Robyn CLOSE and her husband, Brian LESAUVAGE, of Owen Sound. Dearest best friend of Michael BEAUDON, of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her parents, Delbert and Dorothy CLOSE; her dearest sisters, Elizabeth HEIGHES and Doris McLAUGHLIN; her brother-in-law, Doug RYDALL. Derril touched many lives with her beauty, dignity, great sense of style, kindness, her caring for others and compassion. A Memorial Service for Derril CLOSE will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 865 - 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound on Monday, June 25th, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Ted CREEN officiating. Visitation at the Church one hour prior to service. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the Brian E. RICKER, Jann " Janice" (née PERKINS)
Of Owen Sound passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 19, 2007 in her 62nd year. Cherished mother of Melody MORRIS, Shawn RICKER and Dana (Judith) RICKER, all of Owen Sound and Toby (Nici) RICKER of Bradford. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Dayne, Corey, Sophie, Caitlynn, Heather and Mackenzie along with her cherished 'small dog' Scalliwag. Jann is predeceased by her parents Laura (RYDALL) and Melvan PERKINS. Jann was a familiar face to many as she delivered packages in Grey and Bruce Counties working as a courier driver for over 15 years. In accordance with Jann's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and Friends may call at the George Funeral Home, Wiarton on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 28th from 12: 00 noon. A.J.V. LEEDER will officiate the memorial service to celebrate Jann's life at 1: 00 p.m. Interment Colpoy's Bay Cemetery. Donations made to Toronto General Hospital or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. WATSON, Florence
Of R.R.#2 Walkerton, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. She was 94. Survived by son-in-law Gary GAELER of R.R.#2 Walkerton, grandchildren Blair (Debbie) GAELER, Sheri Lynne WARD (Wayne) and great-grandchildren Greg and Jefferson GAELER, Shayne and Dakota WARD. Also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren and nephew Al RYDALL. Predeceased by husband Percy Sr., son Percy Jr. and wife Ruth, daughter Shirley GAELER, 3 brothers Thomas, Stan and Wilf. A Memorial Service will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation with interment in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Peacefully at her son's home at R.R.#2, Durham on Saturday, September 15, 2007. Joan (née FERGUSON) of Orangeville in her 62nd year. Loved mother of Sherry OUTHWAITE and Alan LEIBTOG of Hamilton and Calvin (Maureen) of R.R.#2, Durham. Loving sister of Jack (Hazel) of R.R.#2, Hanover, Jessie PITTMAN of Scarborough, Ella (Roy) WHITE/WHYTE of Midland, Norman (Derlene) of Port Elgin, Mike of Alma, Joyce (Bob) BARHAM of Walkerton, Jean (Keith) HASTIE of R.R.#2, Priceville and Nancy (Robert) TALBOT of Walkerton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Erin, Katey, Becky and Amy. Predeceased by her parents Irwin and Janet and her sister Gladys HELM. The family will receive Friends at the Fawcett-McEachern Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, Durham on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Durham at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. RYDALL, Richard " Dick"
Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Ruth (née JACK.) Loving father of Angela RYDALL, Crystal HOGG (David,) Shannon ERNEST (Michael) and Amanda RYDALL (Scott MacDONALD.) Cherished grandfather of Justin, Logan, Kyle, Nicholas, Ryan, Jacob, Kaylee, and Tyler. Dear brother of John RYDALL (Heather), Shirl SILVERTHORN (Frank) and Patricia SMITH (Mervin.) Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Rose RYDALL and his sister Edith. Dick was a member of the Durham Kinsman Club, he also served as the past president of the Durham Huskey Senior A Hockey and enjoyed playing slow pitch baseball. He was a volunteer canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society. The service to celebrate Dick's life will be held at the Community of Christ Church (414 Fisher Hallman Dr., Kitchener) on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred with his parents in the Edge Hill cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital, Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
