Frederick Leland RUSSELL
In loving memory of Frederick Leland RUSSELL, a veteran of WW2 and the Lincoln and Welland Regiment. He died unexpectedly at his home early on Friday, January 19, 2007 at the age of 83.
Born to Alex and Bessie (LUSCOMBE) RUSSELL on January 27, 1923.
Survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Beulah. Cherished father of Evelyn RUSSELL- BAEHR of Kitchener, Barbara and Keith FLAHERTY of Southampton, Esther (Peter predeceased) SMITH of Gore Bay, son-in-law Jim TAILOR/TAYLOR of Tehkummah. Much loved grandfather of James (Cheryl) TAILOR/TAYLOR of Guelph, Tammy (Jason) BOWERMAN of Barrie, Patrick (Stephanie) FLAHERTY of Port Elgin, Christopher BAEHR of Kitchener. Special great grandfather of Rebecca TAILOR/TAYLOR, Jessy and John PRIGIONE, Kaitlyn BOWERMAN, Liam and Karlie FLAHERTY. Will be missed by surviving sister Justeen and husband Ron ANSTICE of Tehkummah. Predeceased by sister Irene and husband George VANHORN. Remembered by brothers and sisters-in-law Shirley and Gene MADEO, Sandra FRANK, Dennis QUACKENBUSH, Ralph Junior (predeceased), Garry and Bonnie QUACKENBUSH, Bob and Bonnie QUACKENBUSH, Eleanor and Bob JEWELL and many nieces and nephews. Fred loved the outdoors, he rode his ATV, worked in the woods, and operated his own sawmill. He enjoyed wood working, restoring furniture, and was known for his prize winning pumpkins. His greatest love was for his wife and family. A visitation was held Sunday at the Tehkummah Pentecostal Church and a funeral service took place Monday, January 22 at the church as well. Burial will be in the spring at Hilly Grove Cemetery. Donations to the Pentecostal Church or to the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated in Fred's memory.

Peacefully at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in her 93rd year. Melba LOCKHART, of Newmarket, wife of the late Doctor Roy LOCKHART and dear mother of Dianne FAULKNER and her husband Lincoln, Susan TURNER and her husband William, and the late Ron LOCKHART, survived by his wife Marilyn. Grandmother of Karen HARRIS and her husband Andrew, Scott KOSTEN, J. Kelly JEWELL and his wife Lorraine, Gary LOCKHART and his wife Rosi, Wendy BERMINGHAM and her husband Tom, Lori TURNER and her husband Peter. Great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Jamie, Justin, Alex, Jason, Kelsey, Nicole, Christine, Tommy, Geoffrey, and Grant. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery. Peacefully passed away at Mariann Home December 19, 2007. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Jack (Scotty) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. Loving mother of Grace (Craig JEWELL) and Iain (Leslie.) Proud grandmother of Kyle, Colin, Heather and Scott. BUZZELL, Austin W. (1925-2008)
'A man of strong character and generosity and kindness that was felt by all' Austin passed away peacefully on Saturday September 22, 2007 after a brief illness in his 82nd year. Beloved husband to Leona (MITSON, predeceased) for 51 years. A cherished father to Michael, Linda (JEWETT,) Chris, and Ann (FOURNIER.) A generous and thoughtful grandfather to Allan, Nancy, Dany, Ericka (JEWETT,) Jessica, Austin Jr., Sara, and Matthew (FOURNIER.) A big hearted brother to Marguerite, Winnie, Barbara, June, Bruce, Lynford, Rodney, and Winston (predeceased). And loving to his in-laws Idabelle McKENNA, Dorothy MITSON, and all their family members. His family, Friends, and loving companion - Ida DEZAN, are blessed for his time on earth. son of the late Hugh and Maude, Austin was born in the beautiful Eastern Townships of Québec. After serving his country in World War I, he established his families loving home and successful business in Cherry River - between Lake Magog and Mount Orford. Austin was well known throughout the townships for his mastery of all trades and for possessing one of the greatest mechanical minds. His pride of workmanship and quality reputation attracted loyal customers, many of which became long term Friends. He will be remembered for his integrity, patience, compassion, and his passionate love for life, automobiles, travel, family, and Friends. The Family would like to thank Nathalie Langelier, Julie Broulotte, Doctor Robert Masse, Doctor Carl Bromwich, Lynn Beattie, and everyone at the palliative care unit of the Magog Hospital for their dedication, compassion and support. A celebration of Austin's life will be held on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. by Reverend Deanne Moffatt. at Saint Paul's United Church 211 Pine Street, Magog. Luncheon reception in nearby hall to follow service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Magog hospital palliative care unit would be appreciated by family.

WARWICK, Elsie Mary (née ROSATI)
With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Elsie on Friday September 21st, 2007, in her 84th year at Ian Anderson House in Oakville. A private family visitation was held on Sunday, September 23rd, 2007. Elsie, born on Valentine's Day, fought a courageous battle with Non-Hogkin's Lymphoma for ten years. Her outgoing personality, and love of her family will never be forgotten.
Survived by her loving husband Bud, sons John (Barb), Doug, and daughter Laura JEWETT (Graeme) and her four grandchildren Nick, Will, Steph, and Carter. She is survived by her brothers Elio and Hank ROSATI.
The family would like to thank Ian Anderson House, Credit Valley Hospital, and Oakville - Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit who gave our mother four extra special years with her family. Special mention to Doctor KAIZER, Doctor STANTON, and Doctor BENJAMIN.
