WEILAND, Marion Frances (née WIGMORE)
(Past member of Peterborough Theatre Guild and Eastern Ontario Drama League, G.E. Employee for 30 years and Omemee Lioness)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre -- Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, March 18, 2006 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her husband E.R. (Bud) WEILAND. Loving mother of Patricia of Cannington and Terry (Barbara DAVIS) of Peterborough. Dear grandma of Nigel of Hanna, Alberta. Sister of Shirley JOHNSON (Marshall deceased) of London, Eleanor SMITH (Harry) of Saint Thomas and the late Jean PEIRCE (Frank) and Lillie HOWSON (Gerald.) Marion will be missed by her many family and Friends. A Memorial Celebration will be held at the Highland Park Visitation / Reception Centre (2510 Bensfort Road, at River Road South, 1-800-672-9652) on Monday, March 27, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. If so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Peterborough Theatre Guild. A sincere thank you to Doctor RAGAZ and all the Palliative Care Staff of the Rogers Street Site.

At the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit, Peterborough, on Friday, March 17, 2006. Survived by beloved wife Molly, son Tony (Jane), step-son Norman BELL (Margaret,) granddaughters Susan BELL- GASTLE (Jim,) Christine TIBBLES (Peter,) and great-grandchildren Alexander, Victoria, Nicole, Joseph and Grace. Predeceased by spouses Bessie REED and Georgina D.W. REED, parents Archibald H. and Lilian O. REED, and brother Richard F.H. REED. Lovingly remembered by his niece Shirley, and great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, Peterborough. Peacefully at home with his family at his side on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in his 78th year. Ed, beloved husband of Phyllis for 53 years. Loving father of Tracy GREGORY (Bryan), Scott GREGORY (Brenda), Cameron GREGORY (April,) Michael GREGORY (Jennifer) and Melissa POTTER. Peacefully passed away on Friday, March 10, 2006, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of 58 years to Giuseppe. Loving mother to Vincent (Evelyn) and Jerry (Antonina). Nonna will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Frances (Gus), Joey, Marie, Jacqueline, Cristina, Luigi, and her great-grandchildren Damien, Azalea and Sasha. Francesca will be remembered in the hearts of many family and Friends. Visitation will take place at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. West (1 block east of Dufferin) on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Nicholas of Bari Church (1277 St. Clair Ave. West) on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. Peacefully, at Saint_Joseph's Hospital on Christmas morning. Beloved wife of the late Frank RAGONETTI. Devoted mother of John, Chris and his wife Catherine CHANG. Cherished Nana of Benjamin, Samantha, Thomas and Kate. Dear friend of Jay SMITH. She will be greatly missed by her loving cousins Betty TOSSELL, Joyce FISH and Richard BELLING of Devon, England. Quite simply she was a wonderful person in every respect and words cannot express how much she will be missed. Our sincere thanks to Doctor Tim CUDDY and the wonderful nurses and doctors at Saint_Joseph's Hospital for their tremendous care and kindness over the years. Suddenly at home on Sunday, March 26, 2006; beloved husband of Marianne (née DE WAARD;) dear father of Monica (Steve) SLOAN, Kim (Kris) CASE, Nicole (Rob) RAGUSA and predeceased by son Scottie loving grandpa to Sean, Charlie and loving papa to Adrianna, Joe, Ally SLOAN, Kaitlin and Kelsey CASE and special puppi to Brooke RAGUSA; dear son of Cora and the late Gerrit VANDERMEY dear brother to Grace, John (Sandi), Adrie (Karen), Cora (Joe) and brother-in-law to Harry (Claudette), Jack (Cheryl), Toni and Frank (Tollina). Albert is a retired senior editor of The Brantford Expositor. Upon his retirement, he lived his dream to become a published author. In the last 20 years, Albert has been involved in 24 literary projects in Canada and the Netherlands with titles including To All Our Children, Floral Passion, The Dutch Touch in Ontario, Beatrix in Ballingschap and When A Neighbour Came Calling. His memory lives on through his books. A private family service was held at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford.
