Dear mother of Jason FLEMING/FLEMMING and his wife Barb of Woodstock, Matt FLEMING/FLEMMING and his fiancee Jo-anne of Eastwood, Ashley GERIS and friend Mark HOMINICK of Ingersoll, Melissa and her husband Buddy BREAKWELL of Woodstock and Bryan MORRISON of Paris. Dear grandmother of Brayden and Justin FLEMING/FLEMMING and Brienne MORRISON. Dear daughter of David and Pearl DANIELS of Ingersoll. At Woodstock General Hospital on January 19, 2006, Earl Henry PYE of Woodstock in his 70th year. Born in East Zorra Township on January 16, 1937. Beloved husband of Rosemary PYE (née SODEN) for nearly 49 years. Devoted father of Bill (Cheryl) of R.R.#4 Langton, Rosemary of Tavistock, Wendy (Brad,) Tina KEIZER (John,) Tom and John (Angie) all of Woodstock. Survived by his sisters Margaret ROBINSON of Calgary Alberta, Velma McMILLAN of Embro, Helen GUY (Ernie) of R.R.#5 Woodstock, Marion LEBRECHTAHAUSEN (Tom) of Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, by his brothers Tom PYE (Evelyn) of Drumbo, Ron PYE (Kathleen) of Embro, Clare PYE (Valerie) of Huntsville. Also survived by his brother-in-law Phillip SODEN of Ingersoll, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his twin daughters Lisa and Lynda (1975,) his parents William PYE and Elizabeth (née CLARE,) sister Eileen PYE, brother-in-law Bruce McMILLAN and Arthur ROBINSON, father-in-law Nelson SODEN, mother-in-law Irene SODEN (née WURKER,) sister-in-law Jeanette ROSEHART. BENDALL, Dorothy Rebecca
Age 77 of Saint Marys, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2006 while listening to her favourite singer Johnny Cash after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Daughter of the late Roy and Lorraine MOORE of Granton, she was employed at Campbell Soup Division in Saint Marys for 22 years. Dorothy was an avid gardener and enjoyed many long walks around Saint Marys. Predeceased by her dear husband William "Bill" in 1985. She is survived by her children Dolly BURDETT of Stratford, Roy and Kathy of Saint Marys and Larry and Dianne of Woodstock. Grandmother of Dean BURDETT and Denise HOLLOWAY, Mark and Karry BURDETT, Jamie BURDETT and Amanda HUMPHREY all of Stratford, Jenni BENDALL of St. Catherines, Remi BENDALL of Saint Marys, Wes McCLOCKLIN and Lacy McCLOCKLIN, also of Saint Marys. Great-grandmother of Joselyn, Brendan, Cody BURDETT and Braeden HOLLOWAY of Stratford. Sister of Vera FOSTER of London, Olla FIDDY of Woodstock, Evelyn PYE of Drumbo, Joyce HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON of West Lorne, Marion CHAPPEL of Stratford and Gorden MOORE of Stratford. WHITTAKER, Darlene Patricia (née WALTERS)
Of R.R.#1, Embro passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, November 2, 2006 in her 54th year. She was born at Stratford on November 10, 1952, a daughter of the late Lorne and Ruth LOWES) WALTERS. She owned and operated "Homestyle Catering;" was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Brooksdale; a member of Embro Memorial Branch #318 Royal Canadian Legion; an Honorary Member of the Kiwanis Club of Stratford and was an avid golfer and member of the Tavistock and Embro Ladies Golf Leagues. Darlene is survived by her husband, Andrew Alex "Andy" WHITTAKER, whom she married at Brooksdale on May 22, 1971; two daughters, Sherri and husband Andrew BELL, Sheila WHITTAKER and companion Dave BELL, all of R.R.#1, Stratford; two sons, Keith WHITTAKER of Embro, Kyle and wife Tracey WHITTAKER of Woodstock; six grandchildren, Brayden, Codie, Griffin and Gracie BELL; Scott BENNETT and Blake WHITTAKER one brother, Bob and wife Gail WALTERS of Stratford; three sisters, Sharon and husband Larry PYE of Ingersoll, Judy WALTERS- CHANDLER of R.R.#2, Embro; Lori and husband Fred ELLIS of R.R.#5, Stratford brothers-in-law and sisters-ni-law, George and Marjorie WHITTAKER of Lakeside, James "Jim" WHITTAKER and Shirley WATLING of Woodstock, Alex and Jane WHITTAKER of Embro along with several nieces and nephews. Peacefully, on March 23rd, 2006, in her 86th year at Seven Oaks Home for the Aged. Beloved mother of Janice RICHARDSON. Sadly missed grandmother of Laura PYE- FINCH and her husband Mark, Scott EDWARDS and his wife Kim. Much cherished great-grandmother of Caitlin, Colton, Meghan, and Dylan. Daughter of the late John BOWES, Mary LAING, and Janet GODFREY. Catherine will also be greatly missed by her extended family in Scotland. Catherine was a long-term employee with Prudential Insurance Company. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks for their wonderful care and compassion over the past 5 years. Cremation. Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 13, 2006, at Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Emily Nichols (PYE) for 60 years. Dear Dad of Martin (Diane LATENDRESSE), Diane (Yves MENARD), and Rosalyn (Mark STEPHEN). Dear Gramps of Christian and Karine NICHOLS and Jonathon STEPHEN. Harold served with 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion attached to 6th British Airborne. He retired from Imperial Oil Montreal East after 32 years. He was the first of nine boys. Born to William and Lilian (CAVE.) Survived by three brothers Clifford, Raymond, Allan and their families. He will be missed and forever loved by family, Friends and neighbours. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. In memory of Frederick William PYETTE who passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2005 in his 80th year, at home, surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Peggy, née CHARLTON. Fred is survived by his children Nancy and Patrick, his daughter-in-law Carol and his grandchildren Danielle and Keegan. A warm and generous soul, he strove to live a principled life. His wry humour, curiosity and creative mind will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Stirling Heights Long Term Care, Cambridge, after a long illness borne with her customary good cheer. Evelyn was in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late George SIMS. Much loved by daughter Louise SIMS and son-in-law Richard RUSSEK of Cambridge, son Robert SIMS of Ottawa, and granddaughters Heather and Sheila RUSSEK. Survived by sister Dorothy CHILD of Renfrew. Predeceased by sister Marion PYETTE and brother Irvine BROWN. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a retired teacher, active church volunteer, avid reader and bridge player. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, strong opinions, love of life and wonderful capacity for Friendship.
