BARKER, Joyce Irene (née PEMBERTON)
On Sunday, March 26, 2006 in Mississauga, Ontario. Predeceased by brother Donald PEMBERTON. Lovingly remembered by her children John and David BARKER and Gail TENNIER. Beloved grandmother of Catherine and John Matthew BARKER, Laura and Holly O'NEIL, Elisha BARKER and Danielle and David TENNIER. We will celebrate Joy's life at a service and reception to be held at St. Stephen's on-the-Hill United Church, 998 Indian Road, Mississauga on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision or a similar charity to support orphanages in Africa. "Jamais sans espérance."

Peacefully, after a long illness, at Eagle Terrace, Newmarket, on Saturday, April 22, 2006. Wilma BONDI, beloved wife of the late John (1995). Dear mother of Judy (Boris), and John and his wife Ruth. Loving Grandma to Michelle BONDI and David SKELCHER. Sister of Merle FORHAN, Jeanne PEMBERTON, Hazel WALLEN (Murray), Verna WYATT, Marjorie GILPIN, Larry, and the late Rena YAKE, Howard, Ken, Bob and Doris TILT. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and Friends. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Saint_John's Cemetery. Donations may be made in Wilma's memory to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, Newmarket, or the Alzheimer Society of York Region.

Beloved wife of the late Stewart CUNNINGHAM (2004) and the late Harold EMERICK (1956.) Dear mother of Shirley and George SHIPWAY of London, Elaine and Stan JOHNSON of Grand Bend, Betty EMERICK of Hensall, Doug CUNNINGHAM of R.R.#2 Lucan, Carol and Larry DEVOGELARE of Chatham, Sandy and Charles STEPHENSON of Wallaceburg and Brad CUNNINGHAM of Chatham. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ross McRANN of New York State, Marg and Glen PROUT of Exeter, Mary and Edward PEMBLETON, Bill and Val NEIL, and Janet NEIL all of London, Vic NEIL of Lucan, Karol NEIL of Huron Park and Keith LAWLESS of Saint Thomas. Predeceased by a daughter Gladys EMERICK and a sister Gladys LAWLESS. Eleanor was a longtime employee of Victoria Hospital, South Street Campus. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sue McCULLOUGH officiating. GRIEVE, Harold
Passed away with dignity at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket on Saturday, May 27, 2006 with his family by his side at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 63 years of the late Elizabeth Jean GRIEVE (née CRUMP) and devoted and much loved father of John and his wife Pat, Penny and her late husband Rolf PAHL, and Thomas. Proud grandfather of Paul, Heather (Rod FITCHETT,) Sven-Anders, Brenna (Paul PEMBLETON,) Caeley (Donovan GREENING) and Matthew. Great-grandfather to little Samuel FITCHETT. Baby brother of the late Isabel, Edna, Winnifred and Margaret. At Harold's request a private graveside service will be held.
