BIRMINGHAM, Mary Catherine (OGAICK)
Formerly of London. Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in her 90th year; beloved mother of Donna WILLIAMS and her husband Robert (Mike) of Orangeville loving grandmother of Chere MADSEN and Tiffany WOODFINE (Mark) great-grandmother of Cole and Madison; dearest sister of Anne GROSS (Roy) of London and Theresa LEMINCHICK (Larry) of Stratford also sadly missed by Sarah LANGRIDGE, Rebecca SNELL and their families; nieces and nephews from Sudbury and Stratford and her other relatives and many Friends. Predeceased by her 6 brothers. Friends may call at the Dods and McNair Funeral Home and Chapel, 21 First Street, Orangeville on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be from St. Timothy Catholic Church 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Reception to follow at Church Hall. In lieu of donations Mary's wish would be to do something nice for someone. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary in the Dods and McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. (Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com)

SODER, Larry Allan
(Former President/Funeral Director Of The Hendren Funeral Home Ltd., Lakefield 1987-2006)
Passed away at his home, after an admirable, hard fought battle with Cancer on Wednesday, November 8, 2006. Larry SODER of Lakefield in his 63rd year. Born in Virden, Manitoba in 1944, Larry began his career as a Funeral Director with his family in Selkirk, Manitoba. In 1964, Larry moved to Ontario to begin a 24 year career with McDougall and Brown Funeral Home in Scarborough, before he and Mary purchased The Hendren Funeral Home, Lakefield in 1987. Together they devotedly served the families of Lakefield and surrounding area until 2006. Loved by his wife Mary (nee PULCINE) of 34 years, and greatly missed by his children Amanda and Mark. Dear younger brother of Martin (Ruth) of Acton and Carol OGARANKO (Don) of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Lovingly remembered by the Pulcine family and his large loving family all across the country. Especially missed by his Friends from childhood 'The Selkirk Selects'. Larry is predeceased by his parents Ron and Joyce and nephew Bart. Friends and relatives may call at the Hendren Funeral Home, Lakefield on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, November 13, 2006 from 9-10 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the Lakefield United Church, Regent Street, on Monday November 13, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Jack for 49 years. Loving mother of Debra (Roger CHAI,) Kelly (Larry IWAMOTO) and Brenda (Wade PETERS.) Cherished grandma of Stephen, Christopher, Ryan, Bradley and Jason. Dear sister of Jim SANO (Sally,) Kimiko (Kusuo TADA), Harriet (George TSUBONE) and Pat (Bob OGATA). Fondly remembered by other relatives and Friends. Thefamily will receive visitors on Saturday, April 29, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston. Service Monday, May 1 in the Toronto Buddhist Church, 1011 Sheppard Ave. West, Toronto at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
