Raul Llobet Guerrero Cullen, suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, age 52. Beloved husband for 23 years and best friend of Edith Arany LLOBET. Loving father of Carolina, Tomas, and John Andrew. Dear brother to Georgina, Jorge, Ines Maria, Andrea, Claudia, Felicitas, Leonor and the late Arturo Llobet Guerrero Cullen and their spouses and children. He will be sadly missed by all of the LLOBET and Arany family here, and in Argentina and the United States. Raul was very involved in many London social service agencies and was much-loved by those he helped through: Mt. Hope Centre for Long Term Care, Cross-Cultural Learners Centre, Across Languages, C.S.C.N. and the Inter-Community Health Centre. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Michael's Catholic Church, 515 Cheapside Street at Maitland, on Saturday, April 29 at 10: 00 a.m. Interment Saint Peter's Cemetery. MARILYN "MARNIE" AWREY (NEE ENNIS) LLOYD
In loving memory of Marnie Lloyd, 73 years of Sudbury, who passed away
Friday evening March 24 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's
Health Centre. Born in Toronto, Marnie graduated from Wellesley Nursing
College in 1954 and practiced nursing in Mindemoya where she met her husband
Bob. Marnie married Bob in 1957 in Sudbury and continued her profession at
the Memorial Hospital. Marnie left nursing in 1966 to turn her attention to
her growing family. She volunteered regularly at Extendicare Falconbridge
and was an avid swimmer. A woman of faith she was an active member of the
ACW at the Church of the Ascension where she was involved in several
different groups. She looked forward to Sunday worship and coffee time
following church. As a summer resident of Manitoulin Island she enjoyed the
family cottage, boating, fishing and socializing with family and Friends.
Marnie was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Lloyd
(predeceased) of Sudbury. Loving mother of Tim (Virginia) of Sudbury, Graham
(wife Line) of Sturgeon Falls, Chris (wife Sue), and Leanne Welch (Doug)
both of Sudbury. Cherished Grandmother of Amie Anne, April, Joleil, Ashley,
Kara, Andrew and Jenna. Dear daughter of Harley and Myrtle Ennis,
predeceased, dear sister of Joan Drummond of Kitchener, Ontario. Sadly
missed by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and her wide
circle of Friends. Memorial service to be held at the Church of the
Ascension, 1476 Sparks St. Sudbury, Friday March 31 at 1: 00 pm. Friends may
gather at 11: 30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church
of the Ascension Memorial Fund, or the Palliative Care Unit of the Sudbury

ANDERSON, Norman Ralph
Peacefully, at home, Norman Ralph ANDERSON, at the age of 84, Loving husband and dear friend of Valerie (TAILOR/TAYLOR) SMITH. Norm was blessed with three marriages throughout his life. His first marriage was to Patricia (SMITH) ANDERSON of London, England, whom he met while stationed in Surrey during the war. Loved father of their twin daughters Norma and her husband Jim SMITH of Ireland and Dierdre LLOYD of Manchester, along with son Sean and his wife Rasaline ANDERSON, London, United Kingdom and their mother Patricia. Norm was then married to Gloria HALLIWELL for over thirty years until her death in 1990, and was much loved and respected by their son David and his wife Sara ANDERSON of Camlachie. Step-father to Gloria's children Linda and husband Lee McQUIRTER of Sarnia and Len and his wife Maureen GLANFIELD of British Columbia. Norm also enjoyed becoming step-father to Val's children, Shelly and her husband Laurence LOVEGROVE, Petrolia, Terry SMITH, Strathroy, and Julie and her husband Dale KELLY of Forest. Much loved grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by wife Gloria (1990) and granddaughter Lauren Gloria ANDERSON (2000.) Norm was born on July 17th, 1921 at Ochre River, Manitoba, to Ralph Waldo ANDERSON (1955) and Margaret YOUNG, who died when Norm was 5 years old. His grandmother Eliza YOUNG (1973), whom Norm highly respected and loved dearly, stepped in to raise him and his siblings, George (1991), Ross (1972), Marguerite and Malcolm (1987) MacDONALD of Sarnia, and William and his wife Ida, also of Sarnia. Norm's father re-married Jessie DALGHIESH (1985) and had two sons, Norm's half brothers James (1984) and Gerald and his wife Gladys of Trenton. At the age of 16, Norm went to Malartic, Quebec to work in the gold mines with his father. He joined the Royal Canadian Engineers in 1941 in Noranda, Quebec and went overseas in September. He was on Active Service in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, including the D-Day landings on Juno Beach. He returned to Canada in '45 and worked in the mines until coming to Sarnia in '50 to work in the insulation business, mainly building the plants in the Chemical Valley, eventually purchasing Commercial and Industrial Insulation in '76 and selling it in '82. He owned and developed Forest Golf and Country Hotel from '58 til '89. Not liking retirement, together with his son David, he purchased and developed Bonnie Doon Golf and Country Club. Norm loved sports. He played hockey when he was young and of course enjoyed golf. He was a great curler and a Lifetime Member of the Forest Curling Club. In later years he was a great spectator, especially whenever Dale and Julie played. Norm lived a very full life. Beneath the often gruff exterior lay a heart of gold, one to which is much-loved grandchildren and step-grandchildren can attest. He had many Friends and was a good husband and father. He did a lot of good in the community that no one ever new about. Resting at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 9 James Street South at Watt (Forest) Lambton Shores. Predeceased by her husband Charles (1986.) Beloved mother of Margaret HAND and Gerald WRIGHT (wife Ellen) all of Belmont. Loving grandmother of David HAND (wife Myrna,) Len, James and Paul (WRIGHT) all of Belmont. Special great-grandmother of Amy and Ashley HAND all of Belmont and predeceased by Amanda and Timothy. Dear father of Marie and Jerry OGGLESBY of Glencoe. Dear brother of Sylvia (Brian) GAYNON of London, England. Predeceased by 1 sister and 1 brother in Scotland. Tom is fondly remembered by Barbara and Ima OGGLESBY of London and his special Friends, Sue (late Eric) MacFADDEN, Robert and Helen LLOYD of Glencoe, Thor and Elaine MICHEELSEN and Julie COSTELLO of Mount Brydges and their families. Tom was a World War 2 Veteran who volunteered for auxiliary in 1939. He was called in August 1939 and served from 1939-1940 in Aircraft Defense Edinburgh, Scotland. He transferred to London, England Battle of Britain 1940-1942, and then was shipped overseas to India, Burma 1941-1945 and Demobed London, England in 1946. Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Bill MUNRO of Fergus, age 71, beloved husband of the late Sheilah MUNRO (HAMMOND) (2002.) Loving father of Scott and his wife Janie of Guelph, Jodi and her husband Tullio BERGAGNINI of Mississauga, and Suzy and her husband Gary LLOYD of Aberfoyle. Cherished grandpa of Isabella, MacGregor, Taylor, Cameron and Sydney. Loved son-in-law of Margaret and Perrin HAMMOND of Fergus. Dear brother of Robert (Bert) of Cambridge and sister Christina (Chrissy) LANDONI of Fergus. Bill is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family and Friends. Peacefully on Thursday, March 16th, 2006, Ted passed away in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace (née BURLING.) Loving father of James and the late Marie; Doug; Cecil and his wife Shirley; Ken and his wife Betty; and Laura and the late Peter GRAY/GREY. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Ted is also survived by one brother, Don and two sisters, Dorothy LYTTLE and Louise KERR and predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. LLOYD, Thomas George Bedford
At the North Bay General Hospital, on Sunday, April 16, 2006, at the age of 83 years. Thomas George Bedford LLOYD was the beloved husband of Helen Elizabeth SEEBACH, who predeceased him in 1997. Proud and loving father of Tim LLOYD (Helen BUCKIE,) Tracy CHRISTANSON (Brodie,) and Vicki CAMPBELL (Jim.) Dear Grandpa to Michael, James, David, and Steven. son of the late Nora and Charles LLOYD, formerly of Toronto, Tom is survived by his brothers Clarke and Peter. A Veteran of World War 2, Tom served in the Navy. His working life was spent with the Quaker Oats Company. A community minded man Tom was a former member of the Brampton town council. He was an active member of Powassan Lodge No. 443, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, the Rorab Shrine Club, the North Bay Heritage Railway and Community Waterfront Friends. He especially enjoyed his time as "Loco", with the Shrine Clown Unit. He was honoured several years ago by North Himsworth Township as their Senior Citizen of the Year. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall), North Bay, on Tuesday afternoon 2-4 p.m. and evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Wednesday, April 19th at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment of ashes in the Callander Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Sneaker Fund of the Shriners will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
