Birth place Chagunas, Trinida. Resident of Canada since 1976. Passed away peacefully in Toronto, Ontario on April 16, 2006. Beloved wife of George GREAVES. Sister of Alex ALEXANDER, Oscar HYACINTH, Odell HYACINTH and Frank HYACINTH. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cousin of Jocelyn PHILLIP and McDonald WHITE/WHYTE plus many others. Best friend of Victoria SPONE. HYATT, Edith Clara (formerly HOUSE, née ENGLISH)
Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Woodstock General Hospital in her 91st year. She will be remembered by her devoted husband Bill HYATT of Drumbo. Mother of John (Ted) HOUSE and his wife Patricia of Plattsville, Larry HOUSE and his wife Gail of Chesterfield, and Marilyn and her husband Joel ROCK of Woodstock. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Eleanor and Glenn MORGAN, David and Tanya, Scott and Jayne, Tom and Charlyn and Michael HOUSE, and Shaun HOUSE and friend Nadine and also by her 10 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother John H. ENGLISH of Kitchener, her sister Phyllis L. ANDERSON of London. She is also survived by Bill's daughter Ruth MacDONALD of London and son Bryce HYATT and wife Julie of British Columbia and by his 6 grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband William E. HOUSE (1982,) parents John B. and Clara ENGLISH, her sister Jean C. PERRY and her husband Lloyd, sister-in-law V. Merle ENGLISH and by brother-in-law Fred ANDERSON. Edith will be remembered as an avid lawn bowler and Bridge player, and had been a member of the Plattsville United Church. Relatives and Friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the Plattsville United Church on Thursday January 12, 2006 at 2: 00 p.m. Reverend Daniel MacLEAN officiating. Of Port Rowan passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Monday April 3, 2006 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Jack HAZLEWOOD whom she married November 2, 1985. Loving mother of Mike MAHRT and his wife Carol of R.R.#1 St. Williams, and the late Uwe MAHRT, (1995.) She will be missed by her step-children Brenda HAZLEWOOD of Port Dover, Cheryl and husband Jan SMELSER, Douglas HAZLEWOOD all of London, Bruce HAZLEWOOD and wife Vicky of Brantford and Sandra HAZLEWOOD and friend Robert RANSOM of Port Dover. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sarah and Brandon, Emma, Nykki Lynn, and Raemond. She is survived by her brother Herbert and Hilda STUTZ of Essen, Germany. Predeceased by her first husband Willy MAHRT (1971.) Relatives and Friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Died peacefully and with dignity at Peel Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness on Friday, February 10, 2006, in her 85th year. Irene was born in Shelburne, Ontario on March 27, 1921. She worked for Imperial Oil for 37 years. Loving wife of Donald EXELBY of Brampton, Ontario. Dearest sister of Marguerite (Howard FERRIS) of Shelburne, Doris (Douglas McKELVIE) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Loving aunt of Bruce FERRIS (Lynne), Wayne FERRIS (Jean), Brenda HYATT (Don), Nancy McLEOD (Brian), Robert McKELVIE (Margaret) and Anne McKELVIE (John.) The family will receive Friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 1 p.m. Spring interment in the Shelburne Cemetery.
