Son-in-law to the late Elvin and Millicent Hicks. Brother-in-law to Vina Walker (late Calvert), the late Bert Hicks (Barbara) both of Thessalon, Lily Ritchie of Sault Sainte Marie, Joyce Spencer (late Lyman) of Terrace, BC, Gloria Marzetti (late Albert) of Sault Sainte Marie, Norma Discher (Jack) of Kelona, BC, Freda Strawbridge (Bill) of Guelph, Ontario. Edna West (late Mel) of Winnipeg, and Ervin (Iris) of Echo Bay. Orville was a grandfather of 12, and great grandfather of 10. He was uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends attended a Memorial Service at the Northwood Funeral Home, Sault Sainte Marie on Thursday, January 12, 2006 (his 76th Birthday). Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. Many thanks to the 4th floor Oncology staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their excellent care.

At Extendicare, Port Stanley, on Saturday, May 20, 2006, in her 94th year. Born in Sheffield, England, on June 5, 1912. She emigrated to Montreal in 1921 and resided with her young family in Trois Rivieres, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario, before moving to Dunnville in 1949 where she lived most of her life. She moved to Saint Thomas in 1999 and from there to Port Stanley in 2001. Devoted wife of the late Reginald George COUCHMAN (1966.) Dear daughter of the late Annie (INGRAM) and Aaron WHYMAN. Predeceased by her first born son Peter (1962) and her brother John (1980). Beloved mother of Ron and his wife Joan (New Zealand); Ken and his wife Pat (Port Stanley) and Ross and his wife Dale (Ottawa). Proud grandmother of Kim, Andrew, Jane, Colin, John, Wayne, Christopher, Lisa, Paul, and Aaron. Seven great-grandchildren will miss their Gran-Gran; Devon, Connor, Ethan, Spencer, Liam, Jada and Jewel. A wonderful homemaker, an avid golfer and keen traveller until her declining years, she touched so many in special ways -- truly a remarkable and gracious lady. Age 43 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on November 6, 2006. Born August 25, 1963 in London, Ontario, he moved with his family to Thunder Bay in June of 2000. Ken was employed as an Alcohol and Gaming Officer at Thunder Bay's Casino for the past 6 years. It was his dream job and the fact that it was in Thunder Bay, where he spent every summer of his childhood fishing and visiting his grandparents was icing on the cake. Ken is survived by his wife, Karen (YOUNGSON) his children, Jamie (16) and Heidi (11), father Wallace, brother Sean (London, Ontario) grandfather Kenneth INGRAM (Thunder Bay), Sheila YOUNGSON (mother-in-law) and Bill and Mary Youngson (in laws) and many other special relatives. He was predeceased by his mother Joan, grandmother's Margaret and Ella and grandfather Oscar. He will be sorely missed by his best Friends and fishing buddies Jim, Billy, Dave, Lorne and their families of London and Cosimo, Jim, James, Mike and their families in Thunder Bay and a multitude of Friends and co-workers both in London and Thunder Bay. As per Ken's request, cremation has taken place and no further service will be held. Loving Dad of Sheila, Ursula (Andrei), Bernadette (Michael) and Cathy (John). Treasured Grandad of Shawn, Kelly, Ben, Amy, Ryan and Bryan. Great Grandad of Madison and Jamie. Born in Preston, England, he was predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth, as well as his friend and brother Brian. He was also the dear brother of Frank, Ursula and Betty. Bernard was a spiritual man with a great interest in life-long learning. Later in life, he received a degree in Political Science and History from Carleton University and a degree in Theology from St. Paul's University in Ottawa. Bernard had strong convictions and a wry sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by his Friends and family. Before God took her home, we all had the chance to enjoy a delightful afternoon in the hospital café together, along with a few close Friends-a memory we will all hold dear in our hearts.
