McIVER, Margaret Verona " Vera" (BRIDGE)
Peacefully at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's head on Monday, May 9th, 2005. Vera (BRIDGE) McIVER of Lion's head in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald McIVER. Dear mother of Milt and his wife Bonnie, Emmet and his wife Lynda, and Brian and his wife Karen, all of Lion's Head. Special grandmother of Darren, Ryan, Shaun, Reid, Megan, Michelle, Terri, Trevor, Tyson and Tamara and great-grandmother of Leah, Jack, Mallory and Mathew. Sister of Norma GREIG, Ann (Garfield) DUNLEAVY, Veryl PRIEDT and Lois BRIDGE, all of Lion's Head. Predeceased by two grand_sons Tracy and Darcy, two sisters Thelma BRIDGE and Estelle GRIST and one brother Ivor BRIDGE. The family will receive Friends at the Davidson Chapel on Friday evening from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Saturday, May 14th at 2: 00 p.m. with Pastor Billy STRACHAN officiating. MORRIS, Theresa Anne (née McIVER)
Peacefully, in Montreal, on Monday, July 11th, 2005, Theresa Anne (McIVER) MORRIS. Born in Hibbert Township, November 8th, 1924. Beloved wife of the late Thomas D. MORRIS (June 16, 1991.) Terri will be sadly missed by her three children: Mary Jo, Margee (Pierre LEGACÉ) and Pat; her sisters: Alice STILES and Josephine BECHELEY; her in-laws: Fr. Elwyn MORRIS, Mrs. Mary KEARNS and Mrs. Angela HAGGERTY and her numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents: Peter McIVER and the former Mary Catherine JOHNSON, her sister and brothers-in-law Mary and Scott COFFIN and Jeanne and John WRIGHT, her sister Margaret McIVER and her nephew Peter STILES.
Terri graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1946 and from the Ontario College of Education in 1947. She taught school in Petrolia and Perth in the late 1940's and early 1950's and at the Glendale High School in Tillsonburg during the 1960's and early 1970's. In Tillsonburg, she was past president of the Catholic Women's League and of the Tillsonburg Duplicate Bridge Club and "contributed much of her considerable energy to various community organizations. She was a lively, friendly and outgoing person, whose enjoyment of singing, dancing, stories and fun went with her everywhere. Her love of people, especially of children and young people and animals was appreciated by all who knew her. Her secret acts of kindness were many. We love you, Mum."
Relatives and Friends can meet with the MORRIS family at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg (519) 842-4238 on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. C.W.L. Prayers are Friday at 4 p.m. Parish Prayers are Friday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass of a Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison Street West (at Rolph Street) Tillsonburg by Reverend Father Matthew GEORGE. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the "Diabetes Association" or the "Heart and Stroke Foundation" would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Peacefully, surrounded by family, at McMaster University Medical Centre, Hamilton, on September 30, 2005. Daughter of the late Reverend Angus and Harriett MacIVER. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Frank Moore SCOTT, her sister Kay MacIVER and her grand_son Matthew. Dearly loved mother of Rosemary VEZINA (Maurice), Martha LAW (Warren), Dr. Peter SCOTT and Ian SCOTT (Janet). Cherished grandmother of Allison, Sylvia, Calum, Michaela, Elizabeth and Jonathan. Dear G.G. of Grant, Noah and Gillian. Mrs. SCOTT was involved in the creation of the Children's Museum of Hamilton, the Daycare Centre at McMaster (The Sheila Scott House) and the Fieldcote Museum in Ancaster. She was an active member of many other organizations. No visitation. Funeral Service will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, 165 Charlton Avenue West (at Caroline St. S.) Hamilton on Monday, October 3 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Private interment. Peacefully on Friday, May 6th, 2005 at North York General Hospital, in his 52nd year. Loving son of the late Doris and Robert MacIVER. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his grandmother and by his aunt Barbara HUNTER, uncle Bill WILLSTROP, and his wife Janet and their son Jeffrey (Stacey). MacIVOR, Mary Elizabeth (ALLEN)
Born in Arcadia, Nova Scotia, passed away on Wednesday, July 27th, 2005, at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, in her 84th year, the former Mary ALLEN, of Port Elgin. Mary will be remembered by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Walter (Wally) MacIVOR. Mother of Blair RUSK, Allison GAYTON, Dale and her husband Sandy GRIEVE, and Candy and her husband Jim IRWIN. Grandmother of Cori and her husband Rick KENNEDY, Janice HAWRELAK, Linda and her husband Ren YENKO, Cara and her husband Charles WALSH, Glenda and her husband George VAN DORP, Amber GAYTON, and Kyle IRWIN and his wife Allison. Great-grandmother of Valentino IRWIN- VAN DORP and Kali YENKO. She is also survived by her brothers Bruce ALLEN and his wife Mady, George ALLEN and his wife Ginnie, and by her sister, and best friend Isabelle and her husband Lou REDDEN. Mary was a dedicated member of Southport Golf Club, an avid Blue Jay fan, a great bridge player, and a wonderful quilter and needlepoint artist. Mary thoroughly enjoyed her love of travel, travel, travel. As per Mary's request, "Remember me with love and laughter". A private service will be held for the family following cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by Mary. Funeral arrangements in the care of the W. She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. WEBER, Patrick F. (1922-2005)
Peacefully passed away in the loving arms of his wife, Doreen, surrounded by loving children and grandchildren on November 6th, 2005 at Faith Manor, Brampton, Ontario. Born May 28th, 1922 in Toronto and raised on a farm in Beaver Valley, Ontario. Graduate of Horticulture from the University of Guelph in 1953. Worked for the Ministry of Transportation for 32 years and retired in 1982. Married Doreen (FIELD) in 1954 and raised 3 loving children - Michael (Deborah,) Paul (Vanda) and Carol (Jonathon) SHINE grandchildren Nicole (Regan), Kiel, James, Andrea, Melanie, Danielle and Michaella. Patrick is survived by his sister Isabelle (Don) MacIVOR of Yuba City, California and was predeceased by loving parents William (Wa.) WEBER and Emma (SHEPPARD) of Beaver Valley, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations in Patrick's name can be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
