At Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. The former Margaret Kathleen SHAW of Thornbury, in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Nora and Lonny SHAW and step-daughter of Harold COLE. Beloved wife of the late Walter Nicholas HEWSON. Dear mother of Margaret Phillips of Keswick, Paula SNODDON of London and Joel (Trish) HEWSON of Thornbury. Fondly remembered by eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother Ron COLE and sisters Marlene ALLCOCK and Joan McBEAN. Predeceased by a granddaughter Candace PHILLIPS, brothers Robert COLE and Raymond SHAW and a sister Eleanor PALLISTER. Funeral and committal services will be held at the Ferguson Funeral Home, The Valley Chapel, Thornbury, on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. with the family receiving Friends for visitation the hour prior. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Thornbury Clarksburg Union Cemetery. Quietly, and without protest, Julia Yvonne McBEAN (née GOODEN) on January 5, 2005 at 9: 56 a.m. Our mother went as she lived - as an angel among us - with dignity and poise. Said by those who love her, the world will be a lesser place without her. Don't mourn her for too long she would say. We will forever rejoice in the privilege of having had her touch our lives. A devoted husband to Marie (HEIDT) of Glen Williams, his wife of 58 years and loving father to Greg (Sandra McBEAN) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Gerald (Karuna LOCK) of Calgary, Alberta, Jamie of Mississauga and Angela HAZELWOOD (Don) of Kincardine, Ontario. She was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick on January 7, 1923 to the late Arthur MacKENZIE and the late Anna (MacBEATH) MacKENZIE. She was predeceased by her husband George and her five sisters Muriel LEBANS, Jean GILLIS, Anne KELLER, Lois PRICE, Helen JARDINE and her 1 brother Robert MacKENZIE. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She attended First Baptist Church, London. She had been a child care supervisor with the Children's Aid Society and a loyal member of Y's Menettes Service Club of the Young Men's-Young Women's Christian Association. Cremation has taken place, with interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London. Born February 3, 1911, Aylmer, Ontario, died October 28, 2005, Burlington, Ontario. Ordained clergyman of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec for 65 years. Predeceased in 1979 by wife Hazel Jean McBETH and in 2005, by second wife Mary ROCH. Leaving two children Jane BENNETT (George) and Mac SWACKHAMMER (Cheryl RAY,) four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. Pastor in Town of Mount Royal Baptist Church, Montreal; Centre St. Baptist Church, Saint Thomas; Temple Baptist Church, Toronto; First Baptist Church, Oshawa; Sarnia Baptist Church and many interim placements after his retirement. He received an Honorary Doctorate from McMaster University for his work on the Senate and the Board of Governors of McMaster Divinity School. Remaining strong in the Spirit until the end. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A service to commemorate his life is planned for spring.

Born 3 February, 1911, Aylmer, Ontario, died 28 October, 2005, Burlington, Ontario. Ordained clergyman of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec for 65 years. Predeceased in 1979 by wife Hazel Jean McBETH and in 2005, by second wife Mary ROCH. Leaving two children Jane BENNETT (George) and Mac SWACKHAMMER (Cheryl RAY,) four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. Pastor in Town of Mount Royal Montreal, Centre St. Baptist Church, St. Thomas Church, Temple Baptist Church, Toronto, First Baptist Church, Oshawa, Sarnia Baptist Church and many interim placements after his retirement. He received an Honorary Doctorate from McMaster University for his work on the Senate and the Board of Governors for McMaster Divinity School. Remaining strong in the Spirit until the end, in keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A service to commemorate his life is planned for spring.

Peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Morning while visiting Victoria for a family reunion with her children and grandchildren. In her 89th year, loving wife of Beverley George HURST (Military Cross.) Beloved mother of Barbara Joan ADAMSON and her husband Robert (Brisbane, Australia,) Robert George MacBeth HURST and his wife Catherine (Toronto), and Catherine Patricia HURST and her husband Dr. Robert McDONALD (Victoria.) Beloved grandmother of Michelle ADAMSON, Nicala HAIGH and her husband Cameron, and Robert H. ADAMSON (all of Australia,) Todd HURST (South Korea,) Scott HURST and his wife Becky BUERGLER (Vancouver), Raina McDONALD (Halifax) and Caitlin McDONALD (Victoria.) Barbara HURST was born in Parkdale - Toronto, daughter of John M. MacBETH (K.C.) and Virginia MacBETH, sister of Virginia JEVONS and John P. MacBETH (Q.C.). A graduate of Victoria College, University of Toronto and a longtime member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Canadian Fed. of University Women and First United Church (Port Credit). Thanks to The Regincy Retirement Home in Port Credit Ontario. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10 north of Queen Elizabeth Way) on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 11 o'clock. Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday, September 16th, 2005. Danny McBEY of Barrie in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Carol (née MORROW.) Dear father of Melanie REED and her husband Robert of Keswick and Danny (Bo) of King City. Loving grandfather of Tyler and Jayme. Danny will be sadly missed by his sisters Mae PEDEN of Nobel, Margaret HUTCHINSON/HUTCHISON and her husband Dennis of McKellar and Emma McBEY of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother George.
