OLIVER, Ronald Vernon
Ronald Vernon OLIVER, a resident of Walpole Island, on Friday, April 1, 2005 in his 72nd year. Ronald had retired from Nestle foods in Wallaceburg. Loved brother and brother-in-law of George and the late Marietta, Reverend Erwin OLIVER and Jean and Carman WRIGHTMAN. Dear uncle of Mike, Mark (Cork,) Nancy, David, Wanda and Tom VYSE, Reg (Ponce), Whitney and Sandra, Warren and the late John. Great Uncle of Christopher, Brett and Blair. Beloved son of the late Myrtle (Isaac) and Clarence OLIVER. Friends may call at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at Saint John the Baptist Anglican Church, Walpole Island, on Thursday, April 7 at 2 o'clock. The interment will follow at Highbanks Cemetery.

Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, Ruth (MERRILL) JELLOUS, of Ingersoll, in her 86th year. Wife of the late Wilbur (Pete) JELLOUS (1995.) Dear mother of Sally and her husband Les LYSCH of Brampton, Bob and his wife Carol of London, Susan and her husband David VYSE of Foldens and Bill and his wife Sheila of Ingersoll. Dear grandmother of Stephen LYSCH, Mark and Karyn JELLOUS, Eric VYSE, Scott, Lee and Kelly JELLOUS. Dear great-grandmother of Andrew and Raylene VYSE. Dear sister of Jean MURRAY of Ingersoll. Ruth was a volunteer member of many community organizations over the years. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. In loving memory of a dear husband, father and grandpa, Allen (Al) VYSE, who left us suddenly on Christmas Eve, 4 years ago, December 24, 2001. Silent memories keep him near As time unfolds another year No longer in our lives to share But in our hearts he is always there. HORNING, Richard Orlando Jr.
Richard Orlando HORNING, Jr., known to family and Friends as "R.O." or "Landy", quietly passed away in the early hours of September 25, 2005. Born May 16, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Marguerite McCahill HORNING and Richard Orlando HORNING, Sr., (both deceased), he graduated from Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh and Hamilton College in Clinton, New York before beginning his career in radio and television. His profession took him to the Toronto area where he spent most of his adult life. At one point he used his talents for public speaking by opening a business for corporate executives called, "Speakeasy". An avid skier he purchased a home in Ellicottville, New York a popular ski town. A gourmet cook from the time he interviewed James Beard on his television show, he later opened a restaurant there. Golf, another passion, took him in retirement to a golfing community off the coast of Savannah, Georgia, (Skidaway Island), and finally to Leesburg, Florida, where he died after a brief illness. He was famous for his love of telling jokes and sharing jokes. In his last days he compiled thousands of jokes in hopes of one day producing a joke book. Married to Anne CURTIS, he is survived by their three daughters, Katherine Curtis VYSE, Kimberly Anne HORNING, and Andrea Lyn HORNING, all of the Toronto area. He is also survived by his two sisters, Marie NELSON, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Davea FISHER, of Point Roberts, Washington.

VYSE, Teresa Kathleen " Kay"
Peacefully, at Halton Hills Extendicare, on Saturday, November 5, 2005, in her 90th year. Kay was the beloved wife of the late Roy (1995.) She is survived by her sister Ethel MacKIE, and was predeceased by her sisters Mary BEGLEY, Winnie STROYAN, Hilda BLASAK and Anne FORBES. The family will receive Friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home "Shoemaker Chapel" 55 Mill Street East, Acton, (1-877-421-9860 - toll free) on Monday, November 7th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Bob BULBROOK at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (at the corner of Church and John Streets, Acton) on Tuesday at eleven o'clock. The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Remembrances to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
